-: My room was designated as non-smoking, yet it consistently had a lingering odour of smoke. One evening, the smell was particularly overwhelming. Despite calling reception, no staff arrived for another thirty minutes. Ultimately, I had to personally go to the front desk. They simply sprayed perfume, which only provided temporary relief for a few minutes. The property is located on the outskirts of Avonos, with no shops in the vicinity. They charged me 1,000 Lira for a round trip to Goreme. After checking Uber prices, I found that the hotel's charge was three times the amount shown by Uber. The hotel quoted a price of 310 Euros for a balloon ride, but I found another provider offering it for 180 Euros. In general, Goreme, being the heart of Cappadocia, offers superior options for accommodation with a wide array of amenities available.
