One of our top picks in Kaş.Decorated with palms, bougainvilleas and dry-stone walls, this hotel resembles an authentic Turkish village. It features a sea water pool with uninterrupted views over the Bay of Kas.
All bright rooms of Lycia Hotel are equipped with a panoramic balcony or a private furnished patio. They combine free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs with wooden furniture and spacious modern bathrooms.
The private covered decks on the rocky beach offer views over Kastellorizo Island and the Mediterranean. The poolside terrace has stylish sun loungers and white parasols.
A breakfast buffet with olives, dried fruit and fresh orange juice is served on the terrace. Lycia offers a bar and restaurant with French doors opening onto the rose bushes.
Lycia Hotel is about 6 km from Kaş’s town centre. Free public parking and a car rental service are available.

+: Kas is beautiful and this hotel is on the peninsula with easy access to a private beach (note that because you are on the peninsula it gets windywater is more choppy than other places). The hotel breakfast was excellent and a highlight, a huge and delicious spread every morning. Restaurant was also good for dinner and prices very fairsimilar to what you'd find in town. The views from restaurant and the pool are excellent. Room was comfortable. We found that the staff were extremely kind and helpful.
-: The hotel has private access to the beach with beach beds in cabanas. Unfortunately, the covers of the beach beds have not been cleaned and there was mold growing on the pillows at the roof of the cabanas. Shower at the beach also does not work. If you don't plan to spend time at the beach this may not be an issue but as we were coming primarily for the beach so it was a disappointment and uncomfortable. Some other areas of the property could also use repairs, for example, the pool view is beautiful but some tile on the pool has come off, water not crystal clear and pool lounge covers were not completely clean. Shower doors in the room do not close fully so it's hard to take a shower without getting the bathroom soaked. The staff were wonderful and very helpful, but we thought that the owner could have been clearer in her communication. For example, you cannot have dinner at the hotel unless you confirm at breakfast, but we were not told this so did not confirm and were then surprised to find out we couldn't eat at the restaurant one night. Very unclear schedule of when the rooms were cleaned versus not. Overall we enjoyed our time but were not completely comfortable given some of these issues.

+: Beautiful, quiet location with amazing views. Excellent pool and private beach with cabanas. Merih was a wonderful host and we had an amazing honeymoon here. Breakfast was also great!
