One of our best sellers in Istanbul! Set on a narrow, cobbled street leading to the Galata Tower, Meroddi Galata Mansion is in a traditional wooden building. With free-WiFi and a 24-hour front desk, it offers simple, air-conditioned rooms.
Decorated mainly in white, each room includes a TV, mini-bar and private bathroom.
A generous open buffet breakfast with plenty of hot and cold plates to choose from served daily at the property. There are lots of bars, shops and restaurants on İstiklal Caddesi, a 5-minute walk away. There are also cafés on the street that the hotel is located on.
The property is 5 minutes’ walk from a tram stop to Taksim Square, 0.9 mi away. Trams also go to Sultanahmet and Dolmabahce Palace, both reached in a journey of less than 10 minutes. The Bosphorus River is a 10-minute walk away.
A shuttle is available to Ataturk International Airport, 12 mi away. Sabiha Gökçen Airport is 26 mi away.

+: The perfect staff with good behavior made our stay much more pleasant. The breakfast was diverse and delicious including fresh fruits and sweets, both cold and warm buffets. The location is 2 minutes walk to Galata tower, 4 minutes walk (uphill ) to Shishhane metro station and 10 minutes to the main road in order to have access to other PT. The room was clean,the room service was available everyday. The sheets and pillowcases and towels were super clean.The reception was helpful. It is not provided with an elevator but the reception helped us with the baggages.
-: The only problem was the noisy old AC which was annoying to keep it on more than couple of minutes and also the air circulation.

-: The stairs! As we are on the 3rd floor, but not that much of an issue, considered it a compulsory exercise. Pillows are quite big too.

-: Stanza piccola che non dava la possibilità neppure di aprire le valige, considerando che l armadio era un unica anta e non avevamo modo di poter sistemare i vestiti. Un unica finestra che affacciava all interno delle scale....sentirsi in gabbia praticamente.
