+: Good location (close to Galata tower), nice terrace

-: Rooms are very small, you need to ask to change the bed

+: Eine bessere Lage kann man sich, unserer Meinung nach, in Istanbul nicht vorstellen

+: The location was great and it is good for a single night for a solo traveller

-: The staff is extremely under experienced with high school students. I came from a flooded country with my baggage lost and I was late and extremely tired there was no toothpaste or toothbrush the kid at the reception charged me double to buy it for which is okay but whenever I asked him a question he knew nothing. He said there was toothpaste in the room which is why I did not ask him to buy it. There was no toothpaste and he said I don’t know, then he said it’s not his job. He kept calling the owner. He gave me my card which didn’t work thrice I had to take my hand luggage up and down in the lift because the key did not work thrice. It was his job to help me enter the room but he didn’t he was hanging out with a friend down. The girl in the morning gave me the WRONG direction to Galata Tower told me to take a left which is a 30 minute walk from the hardware market versus taking a right which is literally a 2.5 minute walk to Galata Tower. Really really really sad! The owner was speaking to me on WhatsApp before I landed in Istanbul but the moment I checked in - even for recommendations or speaking about the boy to call me back he stopped reading my messages or replying. I can post the screenshot of how kindly I was messaging him. I was scared because the airport had his number regarding my bags, and he was not answering me after I checked in with no recommendations of food to eat in the are.

-: Der Gestank aus dem Badezimmer,es war immer nur ein Klopapier zur Verfügung.

+: Die Mitarbeiter waren mega freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

-: Unser erstes Zimmer hat nach Zigaretten gestunken. So sehr, dass ich die Nacht nicht ruhig schlafen konnte. nächsten Tag wurde uns ein neues Zimmer gegen Aufpreis angeboten. Sie sind uns mit dem Preis entgegen gekommen, eigentlich hätten wir jedoch nichts zahlen müssen, da es nicht unser verschulden ist, dass das Zimmer nach Rauch stinkt. Weil wir keine Lust auf Diskussionen hatten, haben wir den Aufpreis gezahlt. Hatten dafür dann ein großes Zimmer. Außerdem wurde das Zimmer von den Putzkräften nicht richtig gereinigt. Sie hat kurz den Boden gesaugt, neue Handtücher hingelegt und das war‘s. Die Toilettenschüssel ist beim draufsetzen weggerutscht und die Türklinke im Bad war irgendwie kaputt. Vielleicht sollte man sich das nochmal anschauen. :)
