One of the best choices made by us in Erzurum. Hotel Palan is located in Erzurum, near the famous ski resort Palandoken.

This comfortable 4-star hotel is included in the Mystery of Eastern Turkey tourist route. The Palan has 160 rooms, including 18 suites, 81 standard rooms, 32 non-smoking rooms and 2 rooms equipped for disabled guests. You can enjoy mountain view and city view from the rooms. The hotel has several bars and restaurants offering excellent food and drinks. Erzurum city center is 3 km from the hotel and Erzurum Airport is 15 km away.

+: Ruime kamers. Wij hadden met 6 mensen 1 kamer voor rolstoel, en 1 junior suite. Buffet bij ontbijt en diner heel goed, soms bij te weinig gasten geen buffet. Voor vegetariers is het wat lastiger, maar te doen.Doordat hotel hoog in bergen ligt, koelt het in de nacht fiijn af

-: Airco maakte kamer niet echt koel, temperatuur niet instelbaar. Niet alle receptionisten spreken engels

+: Gutes Frühstück und gutes Abendessen (sofern man etwas bekommt). Guter und netter Empfang. Zimmer war okay.

-: Mit dem Auto erst nicht gefunden da man es bei Maps nicht findet oder andere (falsche) Adressen angezeigt werden. Die hinterlegte Adresse bei Booking war ebenfalls falsch! Beim Abendessen wegen einer großen Mannschaft leider nicht mehr viel übrig gewesen und es wurde auch nicht mehr zeitig aufgefüllt was sehr schade war. Unterkunft generell etwas in die Jahre gekommen

+: It's been one of the best hotels we've been lately in Turkey. Buffet dinner and breakfast had enough variety and quite a high quality. The location is suggestive to say the least: among green hills, it was a fresh area even during the hottest summer on record. Very polite personnel, very enjoyable experience. Will be back.
