+: Magnaura Palace review - spotlessly clean, breakfast buffet with great views; roof top view and picnic area; owner and front desk staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of local attractions; their English is excellent and they have good connections to local guides, restaurants, and taxis. The location is super convenient to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace , Hippodome, and metro tram. Host even loaned their Istanbul Metro card for the day.

+: The room was well appointed and comfortable. Great breakfast and fantastic location. Staff were very knowledgeable and happy to help. The staff’s suggestions really made the most of our short time in Istanbul. Views from breakfast are amazing.

+: Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr zentral gelegen. Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und wurde appetitlich präsentiert. Vom Frühstücksraum hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Bosporus. Sehr ruhige Lage. Altstadt fußläufig bequem zu erreichen. Straßenbahn in unmittelbarer Nähe. Werden immer wieder auf dieses Hotel zurückgreifen. Istanbul ist auf alle Fälle mehr als eine Reise wert.

+: The location of the Magnaura Palace Hotel was ideal, right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many of the attractions and also public transport. Breakfast was included in our package and offered a wide choice of fresh food. The views from the breakfast terrace were stunning. The staff, particularly Aydin and Enes were welcoming and friendly and provided excellent service. Aydin even provided us with an Istanbul card in order to catch the light rail and ferries.
-: The entry to the shower was a little small which wasn’t an issue for us, however would be for bigger people.
