+: The hotel is located about 100 m away from the public beach and surrounded with variety of restaurants, bars and shops. In relation to the breakfast, it has been served as a traditional Turkish way: olives, bread, fried eggs, fruits and coffee. It should be noted how responsive was the owner of the hotel. We forgot some stuff in the hotel and realized it when got to Olideniz. some 50 km away from Kalkan. The owner passed our stuff to Olideniz for free.
-: Internet speed could be improved but this is an issue of all hotels. Considering the pandemic, access to order some food options remotely is greatly appreciated. Availability of cards of restaurants that deliver food to the hotel.

+: All was JUST GREAT! Excellent place, very cosy, very nice. The breakfast terrace was very nice, and the breakfast was excellent. You may order as well if you want something different - we ask for menemen, for exemple. The room was very clean and nice. The young girls from the reception was adorable, the lady who served the breakfast and cleans the room was like a mother.
-: I cannot mention anything here. Really.

+: Pensiunea este renovată recent. Foarte curată. Este foarte aproape de plaja publică.
-: Recepția se face doar la prânz. Noi am ajuns pe la ora 20 si am așteptat ceva timp

+: The location was amazing! It is located on a beautiful street with charming cafes, wonderful restaurants, and little shops. It is in the old town in a very well-kept traditional house (there is an AC and mini-fridge). The beach is a 5 min walk, there are stairs leading down to it - keep in mind the whole town of Kalkan is on a hill so stairs cannot be avoided. There is a common area The interior design is amazing, it is modern but you can still feel like you are in a traditional seaside home. There is a balcony with a slight view of the sea, overlooking the street, a beautiful place to sit in the evening sipping tea or coffee. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace with a view of the sea. There is also a common area and you can use the kitchen on the top floor next to the terrace. The staff is very accommodating, breakfast is served fresh and rooms are cleaned every day meticulously.
-: It is an old house with many rooms, so it is quaint and you feel like you're at home, but this also means the soundproofing may not be ideal for some people. You can hear other guests coming and going, which wasn't an issue for us in the pre-season but I can imagine this would be an issue when the hotel is full. There was hand soup in the washroom and nothing more. I usually don't use hotel shampoos and conditioners but shower gel would be nice as well as shower caps - if anything so you don't have to run to the store to buy some. An added bonus would be an electric kettle in the room, but you can use the kitchen so it's not so bad.
