+: Het complex, kleinschalig maar ruim opgezet. Heel stijlvol ingericht en opgezet, passend in de omgeving, boutique chic achtig. Prima ontbijt, voldoende aanbod op de kaart om een paar dagen te kiezen qua lunch en diner. Heel vriendelijk personeel, persoonlijke ontvangst en contact met de eigenaars. Attent en oplettende gastheer en gastvrouw. Heerlijk strand en fijn zwembad. Overal plekken om te liggen, zowel in als uit de zon. Al met al heerlijke plek, een om terug te komen.

-: Internet is niet super, maar goed, dat is wel te overzien. Bij aankomst in donker was het voor onze chauffeur beetje lastig te vinden vanaf de doorgaand weg. Niet al het personeel spreekt goed Engels, maar niet onoverkomelijk.

+: We had a great stay at Baladin. The accommodations are beautiful and well maintained with a nice outdoor bathroom. Nicole and Rachid are great and welcoming hosts. They are very accommodating. We loved the activities proposed by the hotel and overall how they arranged the space makes the place feel like heaven. Many different beautiful spots to lay down in the sun and in the shadow, it’s very well maintained and clean. The food menu shows a lot of variety between local dishes and international options. Overall - a small paradise!

-: The wifi is quite unstable and the exchange rate schillingdollar printed on the menu is not favorable compared to the current rate.

+: Layout of the hotel and restaurant. Also the price for the food menu was very affordable as lunch and dinner options are not included when booking. Food was also tasty. Close to Paje also which is about 20 minutes drive away where is it busier with few more shops etc

-: The pool could have been made to be bigger, unable to swim in it as very small. Mainly for relaxing and cooling off. Would appreciate also if turn down services were provided where housekeeping arrange the mosquito net and spray mosquito spray as we got bit by mosquitos.

+: Es war einfach traumhaft, die Anlage, die Zimmer, Restaurant, Personal. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

+: Mooie locatie, aan een van de mooiste stranden van Zanzibar. De huisjes maar ook de appartementen zijn prachtig ingericht en schoon.

+: The hospitality was the best I have ever experienced. I truly felt appreciated and that they really cared to accommodate our needs. Second, this is truly a beautiful hotel, both in its design and function. There is simply a lot to love about the rooms, the public spaces, the pool and the open air dinning space. Third, the location is exceptional. I really feel they have managed to secure the best part of the beach, by far. Our stay was truly memorable and I highly recommend this property.

+: Schöner ruhiger Ort zum entspannen. Super süßes Häuschen. Leckeres Essen. Massage top.

+: the wait staff , house keeping & kitchen staff are the best thing about this property .

-: upon check in I was greeted by receptionist who told me the manager would be with me shortly . the manager Nicole arrived bought me my welcome drink then proceeded to have a long conversation with a couple that walked into the lobby . I already told Nicole that I was extremely exhausted from traveling for 2.5 days and wanted to shower as soon as possible - she continued to talk with the other couple instead of getting me to my bungalow quickly . upon paying for my stay at checkin the receptionist slid my bill back to me informing me she couldn't take my $100 because it was too old .. which is fair but her tone was very condescending . i had several problems during my stay including a bungalow with NO AC , which resulted in a major downgrade to a suite in the back of the property , an ant infested bathroom in the suite , a cold shower but thankfully there was AC . my bucket list hotel was such a disappointment .- there is not 247 desk service . - the manager lives on the property along with her 3 dogs & cats .- the pool doesn't not have a pool bar only a place that use to be a bar . there are no drinks being made and no servers come around to get your order .. go get it yourself . - the pool water isn't vibrant like the pictures .- the wifi is AWFUL i had to login every 3 minutes .- the cat begs for food .- the dogs wonder around freely like strays .
