+: Magnifikt hus med bra läge mitt i stone town.Mycket charm och tidstypiska detaljer.Bra takterass.
-: AC var svag och orkade inte kyla ner rummet.Frukosten var dålig, långt under vad vi vant oss vid under andra besök Tanzania. Middagen tog mycket lång tid att få in.Sängen var så kort att en normallång man på runt 1,80 inte kunde ligga raklång, utan fick ligga diagonalt i sängen (vilket gick an en natt, då den var förhållandevis bred).

+: Sehr zentral gelegen, alles in Stone Town gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
-: Sehr hellhörig und laut, da mein Zimmer direkt zur Hauptstraße ging. Die Zimmer nach hinten dürften besser sein. Generell sind die 4* nicht gerechtfertigt, dazu fehlt einiges und es gibt Hotels die den Standard haben. Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

+: Central location Was given an "upgrade" to a cheaper room. The room was bigger but the position was not as good.
-: There were renovation works going on everywhere, especially around the pool so it could not be used. The mattress and pillows were the worst in two months traveling in Africa. The breakfast was terrible if you like to eat at least somewhat healthy. Apart from fresh, unflavoured and unsweetened yoghurt and fruit, there was nothing. Even the eggs came drowned in oil, though I requested NO oil.

+: L'hôtel est magnifiquement décoré et a beaucoup de charme. Nous y avons très bien mangé, le personnel est aux petits soins et très disponible pour nous aider, à toute heure. La piscine au coeur du patio avait l'air très agréable mais nous n'avons pas eu l'opportunité de l'utiliser. Une jolie terrasse tout en haut avec une belle vue sur la vieille ville.
