Located in Nungwi at the Northern tip of Zanzibar, Highland Bungalows is a short stroll from the beach. The guest house offers a restaurant and open-plan bar.
The African-themed rooms are housed in thatched bungalows. Each has a bathroom with shower and the beds are draped with a mosquito net.
Local and International dishes can be ordered at the restaurant. Cocktails and drinks can be enjoyed at the bar, which also hosts regular live music events and evening entertainment.
Kisauni Airport is a 1 hour drive from Highland Bungalows.

+: Great location 10 minute walk to the beach, clean spacious rooms and bathroom, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful every day. Britta the owner made sure to come and welcome us when we arrived and also to say goodbye when we were leaving which I think is a great touch and allows you to really get to know the owner which is nice. Also let us keep our room past check out time which was amazing, food and bar was great in the evening. Will definitely be back to Zanzibar and staying here again, loved the location the property and the staff

+: Ubytovani bylo do 10min.chuze od plaze. Prostredi ubytovani velmi pekne. Kazdy den uklizeno, ciste rucniky. Mily personal. A velke plus - maji zalozni zdroj na elektrinu. V ramci ubytovani maji i restauraci, kde velmi dobre vari.
-: Snidani by mohli byt vice rozmanite. A bohuzel jsme meli nemilou zkusenost, kdy si jini obyvatele bungalovu pozvali damskou navstevu a obnazovali se v bazenu, kdy jim bylo jedno ,ze sedime u bazenu a nase deti behaji okolo.
