Tours and prices for holidays at the hotel Jambiani White Sands Bungalows 3* 2024-2025 Tanzania, Jambiani

+: Jambiani is a very quiet beach town, with little tourist infrastructure. We stayed for two days to relax and White Sands was a lovely place right on the beach. Great location, friendly staff, and the basics that you need.

-: The air conditioning did not function well, but once we switched to opening the screened patio door the breeze kept us cool.

+: Proximité avec la plage vraiment les pieds dans le sable. Chambre climatisée avec moustiquaire au lit. Personnel accueillant, super sympathique et à l’écoute de nos besoins. Petit déjeuné super bon et copieux !

-: Literie très dure mais comme partout sur l’île. Forte Odeur d’humidité dans la chambre.

+: A couple positives...air conditioning worked adequately, the one dinner menu item we had at the property was pretty good and we were given an unused (and unusable, with a big chunk of the ceiling missing) unit to shower and change after we had checked out...but, alas, that is where it ends...

-: We really hate giving a property a bad review, and if there are one or two glitches - especially if these get sorted - we are happy to roll with it. However, there was so little good about this place and so much bad... Our first unit was grungy, had a broken toilet seat and a aucet that was not actually secured to the sink. We got moved into a second unit that had been renovated at some point and was marginally better in appearance; at least we could use the faucet. The toilet seat was likewise attached with just one bolt. That one bolt broke a couple days later and the seat was reattached but not in the correct location, making it uncomfortable and potentially dangerous to use; there was a gap between the porcelain and the seat that threatened to trap body parts. Our rooms looked nothing like the photos on booking.com The fan worked fine but was old and rusted and every time it was turned on it sprinkled bits of rust on the bed AirCon worked fine as well, but left a stream of water down the wall and sometimes onto the pillows Sheets and pillowcases were clean but were old and stained with rust spots...at least I hope they were just rust... Room was tiny with a huge bed that left minimal room to move about in The sea view balconysittling area was tiny and almost unusable Outdoor furniture on the balcony and in the public area was old, broken and virtually unusable There was a single usuable plug in the room No mosquito netting Dining roomcommon area was uncomfortable with the same old, rickety furniture and shaky tables The property does not have a liquor license, so alcohol was not available. If I wanted a beer, one of the local lads would have to run to a store and fetch it for me While the dinner we had was good, the breakfasts - the same each day - were horrid We ran out of water three days in a row, once mid-shower. By all accounts the property's water tank had been allowed to run dry.

+: Strandnah, saubere Unterkunft und freundliches Personal

-: Zimmer sehr eng.

+: Die Personal waren sehr Freundlich, Joker hat versucht das wir alle bequem sind, er war sehr freundlich und respektvoll 🥰.

-: Die Zimmer war nicht so schön und am Anfang hatte eine unangenehme Geruch , ich mit Allergie war für mich echt nicht gut

+: Schöner Blick auf das Meer,komfortables Parking, sehr freundliches Personal

+: Das einzige was an der Unterkunft schön war, war der Strand.

-: Die Fotos im Internet entsprechen nicht der Realität. So sah es vielleicht mal aus, wo das Hotel eröffnet wurde. Jetzt ist es nur noch heruntergekommen und kaputt. Nicht empfehlenswert! Sind sehr enttäuscht.

+: La ubicación, estaba enfrente de la playa en una zona muy tranquila, la cama muy cómoda, el personal muy amable y servicial, la limpieza, fuimos en temporada baja y aunque estaban bajo minimos el desayuno era bastante variado.

-: Las instalaciones estaban un poco dejadas sería por ser temporada baja, digo yo que lo pondrían a punto para la temporada alta. El bańo cuando te duchabas se empapaba todo el suelo y se quedaba el suelo mojado todo el día.
