+: Sansi Kae is an amazing resort. We loved our time there. Right On the beach. Great Pools. Great Staff and overall a great stay. The massages were amazing. The night activities were a lot of fun and created a great vibe. The way the staff treat you is like royalty. We made friends with lots of the staff and had some good laughs and learnt a lot of the language from them. They always went our their way to make sure we had everything we wanted and more! The external company that handled the booking of activities were great too. We swam with dolphins and went to feed sea turtles in a cave. AMAZING experience. We also did the tour of prison island and stone town which were also great experiences. The resort is a bit of a drive from the airport but the taxis got us there no problem. On the East side of the island where its not as commercial so it wasnt too busy. We heard that the North side is madness. Especially when doing tours like the Dolphin swim. We had 4 boats around us vs what i heard some people say its mayhem with over 20 boats as an example. For a chilled getaway to relax and spend time at the beach or pools was amazing. I would recommend Sansi Kae to all.
-: Our power kept tripping in the middle of the night meaning waking up sweating in immense humidity. Had to go outside and flick the mains back on at least twice an evening. The aircons may need to be re-gassed as it started nice and cool and after 5min it was just blowing air. At least the unit also had a fan so with the 2, it was decent. The costs for the buffet lunch dinners are a little on the pricey side @ $25 a person excluding drinks. Obviously cater more for the non African countries so converting from Rands, things were a little on the pricier side. The food was really good though. The smaller restaurant could use a few more options. 3 Burger options @ $8 (Chicken Beef Fish). 4 Seafood dishes @ $15 each. That's all! We ordered a Chicken Burger and got a fish burger which then made us rather do the buffet dinners but again it landed up being quite pricey. Maybe was better to do the all inclusive? We didnt really weigh it up.
