+: Outstanding hosts at Mandarin, feels just like home! We had a pleasant 2-nights stay and it was total relaxation for us. The ambience was great, very clean, all the staff were great, Chef Amir made the best of dishes (breakfast was also top notch) and extra stars for the GM Mr. Hany! There are different activities at Mandarin but unfortunately, we were only there to basically eat, sleep and enjoy the beach though I am sure they would be just as great. If you are looking for a great affordable place in Zanzibar then Mandarin Resort it is!

+: Personeel was erg vriendelijk! Kregen een welkoms drankje, kamer werd gratis geüpgraded, personeel kwam een babbeltje maken en waren oprecht geïnteresseerd! Eten was erg lekker en een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Kamer was heel mooi, accommodatie was erg netjes bijgehouden! Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf en de mensen, zeker een aanrader!

-: Dat we maar 1 nachtje bleven, had zeker langer gemogen!

+: I got from my holidays in the Mandarin Hotel exactely what I was looking for. I was at low season, so there weren't many guests in the hotel. For me it was perfect, because I want to calm down, relax and chill, so I really enjoyed the quiety. The Personal is were nice and they are looking for you, that you always feel well and have everything. Especially thanks to Mr Suleimani from the restaurant, Mr. Hani the Hotel Manager and Othman the Animator, who always carrying about me. I really felt not alone, even if I travelled alone 😊The food was good. You could always choose a la carte. All in all I can recommend the hotel very much. 👍

-: There are cats walking around the hotel and also the restaurant. If you may not like them or allergic to cats, it could be a problem. For me it was ok, because I like cats.

+: Me and my husband was staying at Mandarin Resort for 4 night, our trip was so amazing because Mandarin have good Manager👍 Mr Hanny was give us care and he was so close to the guest and Also Mandarin have super staff like Chef Mr Army cooking us Delicious food 😋and also their waiter Mr Suleiman and even have Animation🥂 amazing Staff Mr Ottoman actually we was fell like we are at home very friendly staff .The resort is very well maintained and clean. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Everything works perfectly. The pool is very clean. It is the best resort we have ever seen. It is a very good place to relax and unwind. You are very pampered there. Everything is to your complete satisfaction. There is nothing to complain about. Many thanks to the entire team.For sure we will come back again for enjoy the wonderful place👍💯 because we found a lot of new friends best regards from Tabia and Roland ❤️

+: Quiet, private pool, scenery.

-: Poor customer service , the room was still a mess when we arrived, electricity blackouts the whole day no standby generator

+: El desayuno es buffet, muy completo. El personal muy amable. La ubicación es buena, a pie de playa. Es lo que Kizimkazi ofrece: playa y hacer vida en los resorts.

-: El resort podría pasar por alguna reforma para mejorar el aspecto de "viejo" que tienen alguno de sus servicios. Aunque esté limpio, el aspecto envejecido da sensación de sucio. El wifi es de pago en las habitaciones, solo en la zona de la recepción es gratuito.

+: Wir verbrachten 4 Tage im Mandarin Resort und hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft befindet sich direkt am Strand. Der Strand ist wunderschön und war zu unserer Reisezeit (Mitte März) wenig touristisch, sodass man viel Ruhe genießen konnte. Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist sehr gepflegt und auch die Zimmer können sich sehen lassen. Das Badezimmer ist sehr groß und bietet ausreichend Ablagefläche. Im Zimmer befanden sich zudem ein Moskitonetz, ein Ventilator und eine Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

-: Bei Stromausfall gab es weder Strom noch Wasser. In unserem Zimmer gab es keine freien Steckdosen, sodass wir etwas anders ausstecken mussten um unsere technischen Geräte zu laden.
