+: It was the worst breakfast I never seen. Poor services and careless staff. They always watching TV (football). They have only water and local beer in the counter. If you want something, you need to ask because as I said they are busy with watching TV. The rooms, bad conditions, all sockets are loose and risk fir health and safety. I had to fight with them about the cleanings, safety particularly the sockets but never fixed them until my departure. They don't care about customers, what they only care is about money. There was caterpillar moving around my room and toilet. I took a photo and showed them to the reception. There was also termite building or moving on the wall in my room. There was also no bulb light on one of my bedlamp though tried to inform them but never fixed it. I recommended anyone who was thinking to book or go there (Zanzibar Ocean View Hotel), please don't book it. It is the worst hotel I ever seen in Zanzibar and will not gobook there again.

+: The breakfast was good and the stuff is friendly especially these two guys Ally and Tina were so lovely to be with them. Jackob the manager is a father figure who is so kind. I enjoyed rice and the fish.
-: The yard need a bit of cleaning everyday like what the do inside the rooms. I was scared of snakes as the shrubs were so high however i did not see one.

-: The receptionists were rude they even tried charging extra $20 above your official price inclusive taxes.They also said they charge an extra $6 on swiping my Visa card 🤬The power kept on going off for hours etc…
