+: The apartment is spacious and very clean and has a nice terrace and swimming pool. The interior of the apartment is relatively well maintained, but somewhat outdated. At this moment (summer 2024) the apartment still has a free sea view, but in coming years that view may be partially blocked, because opposite to the apartment a house is being built. Apparently, every 5 days someone comes to clean the apartment, but the datetime may not be convenient to you. In that case, you are offered to sit on the terrace while the apartment is being cleaned.

-: First thing to mention: this is not an entire or freestanding house or villa, as the wording and photo’s on Booking.com could suggest (Booking.com, German: ganzes Ferienhaus, English: entire home, Spanish: casa entera, Italian: intera casa, Dutch: volledig huis, Russian: Дом целиком, etc.). Instead, it is the upper floor of a two-storey house. The hosts live on the lower floor. The facilities of the apartment are all private, but a staircase leads to a garage belonging to the lower floor. This garage is not accessible for guests and the door to the garage is locked. When you have a (rented) car, be aware that parking a mid-sized car or larger next to the apartment may be somewhat of a challenge, depending on your backwards driving skills, 180-degree turning skills or insurance policy. One of the most noticeable things in the apartment, when we were there, was the overwhelming smell of mothballs. This smell seemed to come from the wardrobes in the bedrooms. Some of the wardrobe doors are locked and not accessible for guests, and apparently store something that needs to be protected against certain insects. With these levels of smell these insects will certainly not bother you. After the first day, one of our group started feeling unwell of the smell. At night, we kept the bedroom windows wide open to dilute the smell. But, if you like the good old smell of mothballs, this is certainly the place to be! For some guests the interior may feel like they are entering a 90’s scene. The drains in both bathrooms are too small. The stove is partially electric, partially gas (2+2 burners), but the gas did not work. The outdoor hanging egg-chair is kept together with duct tape. All in all, the apartment was acceptable, but considering the above features, it offered insufficient value for money (also compared to other, similarly priced but freestanding houses we had in Greece).

+: Fantastic location. A Beautiful traditional Mediterranean villa with the finest modern appliances.Very comfortable and peaceful.Very close to fine restaurants and local supermarkets.The host Ms Tanya was very accommodating and super friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

+: Grosszügig, umfangreiche Ausstattung, Pool, Vermieterin sehr nett.

-: Lage (an der Strasse, sehr befahren!), Front- und Seitenverglasung des Pools (sehr schade, ist auf dem Bild leider nicht zu sehen!)

+: The host Tania was absolutely lovely and happy to help us out with any requests. It felt like a home from home

-: Pool and outside space with comfortable loungers, plenty towels provided and a great BBQ pit

+: D’abord, la propriétaire était adorable. Elle nous a accueilli de la meilleure des façons avec un magnifique gâteau traditionnel.Ensuite, la vue était formidable, avec un lever du soleil à couper le souffle.Les équipements étaient excellents, et la villa est très bien équipée.Il y a le port à quelques minutes avec de belles plages et des activités nautiques.

+: tolle Lage, Ausstattung speziell, aber gut und sauber. Die Gastgeberin Tanja ist super. Allerdings ist die Villa - entgegen manchen Kommentar- nicht komplett für einen alleine, sondern die Gastgeberin wohnt mit ihrem Mann in einer Einliegerwohnung im Erdgeschoss (komplett abgetrennt)
