+: The location of this hotel is fantastic! Porto Koufo is a wonderful spot for a relaxing vacation, and the hotel is perfectly positioned right on the first line—just steps away from the beach. They offer private sunbeds at the beach, free for guests to use, which is incredibly convenient. The sea is crystal clear and calm, perfect for swimming and relaxing. The housekeeping staff is excellent—friendly, positive, and thorough. They cleaned the rooms daily, which was a nice touch. As for breakfast, it was better than expected. I had read some negative reviews before booking, so I was prepared for the worst. However, it turned out to be quite decent. Every day, there were fruits, vegetables, bread, cereal ingredients, and a variety of local dishes and desserts. Some days, though, the bread was not fresh. While the quality of some items wasn't quite up to what I’d personally buy from the supermarket, there were plenty of alternatives to choose from. The biggest downside for me was the coffee and water—they were pretty bad, to the point of being undrinkable in my opinion. But thankfully, there's a beach bar where you can buy decent coffee instead. It’s disappointing that the hotel doesn’t provide quality coffee for its guests and opts for the cheap stuff instead. That said, it’s a minor inconvenience considering the overall experience.
-: Now for the downsides, starting with the fitness room. Honestly, it felt more like a torture room than a place to work out. For me, having a proper space to stick to my workout routine is important when I travel, and that was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Unfortunately, the fitness room was a disappointment. It’s like a dark maze, filled with rusty weights that need a bit more attention and maintenance. There’s no AC or ventilation, and the kitchen is located right next to the room—there’s a curtain, but i don't think there's actual window—so all the smells from the kitchen drift in. The room was hot, smelly, and overall, very unpleasant. To make matters worse, on the second day when I asked for the key (which, by the way, you have to request at the reception desk you can't just go), we discovered the room was flooded. It had rained the day before, which is understandable, but the staff hadn’t even bothered to check it beforehand. When I returned the next day, they had mopped up the water but left the carpets, which were still wet and starting to smell. Another major issue was the Wi-Fi. Essentially, they don’t have any. It was painfully slow, and most of the time, it was completely unusable. Additionally, if you’re a young couple seeking peace and quiet, keep in mind that this hotel is very popular with families, especially those with young babies, which can make for a noisier atmosphere.
