+: The location was beautiful. So quiet & away from everything. Everyone staying there was really friendly. At night all you can hear is the crickets. The house (mandarin - last one in the row of houses near the swimming pool) was spacious & comfortable. 2 bathrooms a bonus. The house was really charming - beautifully built. The aircon was great and worked well in the 35o heat. The swimming pool was great in the heat too. The children loved all the different insects that were around the house. Many lizards, crickets etc. There was always something to look at. The small village of salakos is 5 mins down the road - we had a meal there one night and it was lovely. The house is in a good location to explore the less touristy areas of the island. A car is essential here.

-: When we got there we didn’t know which apartment was ours and this was not in any of the communication. We called when we got there but it would be better to know before we arrived.The kitchen was not well equipped for a family of 4. Only 2 sets of knives and forks for adults. No salad bowl - we had to make salad in a saucepan. Only one chopping board (not ideal if you are preparing meat and salad). It really needs more equipment in the kitchen. In the pictures there are sun beds all around the pool - these are not there. We took one of ours from our house down to the pool but realised it had a rip in it and so didn’t sit on it again. There were droppings on our balcony & scratching in the roof which I reported to the agency who looks after the place. I was told it was ‘in the nature’. There are lots of lizards, crickets, spiders etc which I accept is ‘in the nature’. I do not accept that rats living in the roof is acceptable and I was disappointed that they were not responsive on this. I requested a late check out 3 days before we left and did not receive a response to this.

+: The location is wonderful. Great swimming pool for children as well as adults. Good neighbors.

-: 1. You'll meet some incects, which makes sense if you choose living in a beautiful nature surroundings. 2. There are no handrails on the staircase going up the second floor, which is very dangerous for children if unattended..

+: Sehr schöne Villa, sehr ruhige Lage, schöner Pool, landschaftlich traumhaft, süßer Kater. Schönes kleines Dorf mit einem Bäcker, Supermarkt, Tavernen, Eiscafe und alles auf einem Dorfplatz..

-: All was really great, there are few things or utilenzes that could be better quality, but that is so minor that it would not have any impact on the stay overall
