+: I barely write reviews, almost never, but for almost 500 EUR per night this "boutique hotel" is disappointing. The only thing that stood out was the breakfast, the rest was mediocre, maybe not even.

-: I am super disappointed and consider this hotel a waste of money in peak season. I don't now where to start. As a boutique hotel, priced at almost 500€ per night during peak season this hotel had a lot of flaws. We couldn't enjoy our stay knowing how much we paid, as there were many better and more affordable boutique hotels across the island: 1. Beach (not the nicest beach): I don't know why ONLY in front of the Theodore there was algae on the beach. Left and right of the hotel it was cleaned up but not at the hotel. The "facilities" and the outdoor space was really dirty and cheap with little to no love for details. 2. Food: Ordered a Club Sandwich that didn't taste like a club sandwich, go next door and you are better of eating at the beach. 3. RoomCleaning: While the Room was nice the minibar was just standing in the room, the router just plugged into the wall and when cleaning the room the bed and pillows were folded like I was doing it myself. Towels and bed sheets had some holes. Also, no TV's in case you wonder. 4. Reception: Asked for local recommendations, the staff had no idea and we just waived it to come back. They literally give you a print out with a few basic recommendations within 2 hrs drive. 5. Flexibility: We changed the dates of our stay due to some circumstances, and the rate was slightly lower. The hotel asked us to pay the balance once we arrived the hotel. 6. Check-In Check-Out: No help with the luggage, had to carry it myself.

+: Staff was amazing - as they were during our last visit 2 years ago. Breakfast was awesome.

+: Super Frühstück, grundsätzlich die Küche mit kleinen Speisen ab Mittag, sehr sehr gut, das Personal ebenso, da ein kleines Hotel mit wenig Gästen, sind immer 2 Servicemitarbeiter ansprechbar und erfüllen jeden Wunsch, gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants, super Service auf der Terrasse oder am Strand, Abends die Bar, Mega - tolle Ausstattung und Ambieten im Hotel und Zimmer, MEGA

-: die Lage ist leider zu Nah an Chania, direkte Umgebung ist viel los, trotzdem sehr ruhig, eine kleine Oase! Als Ausgangspunkt aber optimal.

+: Posizione ottima con poche camere tutte sul mare (pied dan l’eau) con spiaggia privata compresi lettini, ombrellone a palma, doccia in spiaggia, teli mare, servizio in spiaggia, personale cortese e preparato. La posizione del Theodore Hotel permette di fare escursioni verso Kissamos, Elafonissi beach, Falassarna beach etc. affittando un’auto.

-: Wi-Fi presente ma alcune volte un po’ lento.

+: Spędziliśmy w tym hotelu dwie noce.Żałujemy że tylko tyle. Jest to najlepszy hotel w jakim byliśmy dotychczas na Krecie. Pokoje są przestronne z cudownym widokiem na morze.Niesamowicie wygodne łóżko i poduszki. Przesympatyczna obsługa.Pierwszego dnia w ramach pobytu w hotelu przyniesiono nam do pokoju butelke wina oraz talerz przekąsek. Śniadanie a la carte przepyszne.

+: Excellent facility, location, service and very friendly staff.

+: Notre séjour a été parfait. L'hôtel est au calme, les chambres sont décorées avec soin. Petit déjeuner excellent. Tout le personnel est très sympathique et aux soins. Accès à la plage et plage privée très agréable.

+: Il soggiorno è stata la migliore esperienza mai avuta fino ad ora. La struttura è curata in ogni minimo particolare e sembra un tutt'uno con il paesaggio, peraltro meraviglioso in cui si trova. Esci dalla camera e sei già in spiaggia. Colazione nutriente, varia e buonissima. Lo staff è ciò che rende la struttura superiore a qualsiasi hotel a 5 stelle, di una gentilezza e spontaneità fuori dal comune, a tutti sorridono gli occhi e inevitabilmente infondono tranquillità agli ospiti. Grazie di tutto!

+: The hotel is perfect. Small one, adults only from this year (yay!), very nicely decorated. It was super clean, all amenities were there and replenished daily. The location is right on the beach, it is super quiet and there is a bar with snacks (which are amazing) and drinks. Breakfast was great, you get specials every day and a standard a-la-carte menu. Coffee was also great! Wifi worked pretty good, not super high speeds, but enough to stream Olympics :) But, what made a difference for us was the staff. They were so welcoming, warm, helpful and eager to talk and help us during our stay. Everyone was super nice, but we must mention Stella, Eleni and Giannis. Such nice people that genuinely want to help you in any way, or just chat. My wife and me are so happy that we chose this hotel, and we will for sure come back for this little piece of paradise in Crete.
