+: Villa itself was lovely. Good location. Comfortable bed. Lots of space.

-: Pool heater hadn't been put on so was freezing cold. No hot water in the Villa for first 24hrs. Nobody to greet us on arrival or next day as arranged. Finally turned up the day we were leaving! Lots of confusion before arrival regarding prices for extras. Resort was closed, even though website advertise that amenities stay open until the end of October. All excuses began with 'well it is the end of the season'.

+: we were a family of 11 people ranging in age from 3 to 55. the villa was good family accommodation with all the bedrooms having their own bathrooms. the outdoor space is good , pool child friendly as it has built in steps. the local bar , taverna and beach all suitable for mixed ages and within walking distance . on the whole I would say we had a good stay.

-: we raised a few issues with the owners which they will hopefully attend to , ie: wifi isn’t great and they could do with adding range extenders , fridge not cooling properly even though it is new so needs an engineer visit possibly, and some additional kitchen equipment would be useful such as baking traysoven dishes and extra tea towels and bin liners etc . all minor things that are easily rectified . we also experienced a couple of maintenance issues but these repairs were carried out immediately they were reported so they are attentive and responsive owners.

+: Overall, Villa Jupiter is a nice place to stay with a family. Does not quite meet up to its title of Luxury and a few simple changes could give this a higher score. It’s in a very nice location. Very easy short walk to beaches, bars and restaurants which are all nice. Good Points... Location Pool Outdoor seating area (however a mosquito net around the bbq seating area would be a good idea) Lots of outdoor space Inside sitting room area downstairs very nice Maria very helpful and quick to respond with any queries and assisted in getting something from the pharmacy for us.

-: Not so good points No basic supplies in kitchen – salt, pepper, olive oil, cling film No baking trays for oven – really needed for cooking with young children Had to ask for tea towels and oven glove Toilet waste bins – only emptied once during our weeks stay – not really good enough 2 very small, cheap plastic, extremely slow boiling kettles – for a villa that sleeps 10 a bigger more efficient kettle would be a good idea No English instructions for washing machine Dishwasher – old and rusty inside and positioned right next to outside door. Fridge – needs to be bigger and open on the opposite side. Regular power cuts Poorly positioned bedside cabinets in downstairs bedrooms giving limited wardrobe access Flaking wall in 1 downstairs bedroom Temperamental gate fob opener Kitchen overall was very dated and tired – not enough in the way of serving dishes for salads etc Sun lounger cushions a bit thin We were almost charged the cleaning fee of €150 twice and had to go through a lot of frustration to check old emails etc to get this resolved. Fine in the end but unnecessary stress caused for no reason. Late check out at 11am previously agreed but then we were told 10am. Cleaners arrived at 9am and had to be turned away. No big problem in the end as cleaners started upstairs when they came back at 10am. Might only be 1 hour difference but with 3 young children that makes a big difference. A welcome pack of some sort would be nice considering the cost of the villa for a week. Maybe bread, butter, jam, milk. We have stayed in many villas over the years and these have always been provided.
