+: Had an excellent experience with this hotel. My family and I had difficulty with our travel day due to rough road conditions and 2 young children. We reached out to the hotel letting them know when we’re about to arrive late in the evening just to see what food options would be available after a 7 12 hour travel day. The staff went above and beyond allowing us to message our orders to them. Once we arrived, many staff members came to help me and my children to our room and get us checked in expeditiously. Soon after arrival, our food arrived as well, allowing us to settle in and recover from our rough travel day. My husband is an elite ambassador member at several major US hotel that comes with perks and services including butlers at some locations, and I still have never received the level of excellence we received at PrideInn. Addition to the service, the food was also the best service food I’ve ever had -specifically the lamb. We will be returning.

+: The lunch menu was good, generous portions and delicious cocktails - the burgers were yummy. Most of the staff were very pleasant.

-: The room was different than advertised and paid for. The room said there are bathrobes, slippers, a minibar, wine glasses etc. but none of these were in the room. The bathroom door didn't close at all as the lock was broken and the electric socket next to the bed while appears to work, has zero voltage - for example, my phone was in charge for an hour and only upped 1%. There was also a smell of smoke in the room, even though a non-smoking room was requested and there was a no smoking room sign. We tried to go have food in the area overlooking the pool twice, but the first time we were told we couldn't due to a function taking place and the second time due to construction work going on. So that was disappointing. While I was there, I received a message via booking.com from the manager to provide real-time feedback. I responded with the above message, and received an out of office which requested to forward on to reception which I did and no response. It was only when we had checked out that a manager approached and while she was polite and thanked us for the feedback there was no apology. I do feel that a gesture, such as a drink on the house, or a cocktail knocked off our bill or something to that effect could have been offered given the room was not what was paid for.
