+: - Room was spacious and beautifully designed, we booked a beach room which looked out directly onto the beach and had sunbeds both close to the room and further to the beach- Common areas of the property were stylish. Hotel also has a libraryreading room and an outdoor beach cinema which can be pre-booked.- Pool was fantastic, good size and beds in the sun and shade, as well as kayak and paddle boards that can be used free of charge- Staff were incredible; each room is allocated an individual member of staff who looks after you during your stay. You are given a phone for the room with the whatsapp number of that staff member! Ash was amazing and catered to our every need immediately!- Food and drinks were of very good quality. Given the location is very remote and you are a captive audience (you couldnt really go elsewhere for dinner), the prices are very reasonably priced (local beer $3 and most main dishes between $12-$18)- You can pre-book a beach dinner BBQ, which was phenomenal; would highly highly recommend- Hotel has geniunely thought of everything and a number of the small touches (phone for room etc) shows they have really got it right!

-: - not a negative for us, but people should be aware the beach the hotel is on is not a private beach and is used by local fishermen regularly, who haul in their catch for the day both by hand and by using tractors. There is therefore some noise of tractor engines for a short period in the dayafternoon. We loved going out to see their catch though!

+: Alles! Die Freundlichkeit des Personals, der Empfang und Verabschiedung vom GM Umberto, das schöne Zimmer mit abenteuerlicher Außendusche, die Einrichtung, das außergewöhnliche Frühstück. Das Personal ist super fürsorglich. Man hat seinen eigenen Butler. Die Gastfreundschaft, der Service, die Einrichtung des Hotels und der Komfort der Zimmer, alles da, damit man ein unglaubliches Erlebnis hat. Hier ist ein zauberhafter Ort zum Entspannen. Hochwertige Speisen im Restaurant und ein wahnsinns Pool. Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt.

+: I discovered this hotel through Instagram and was initially skeptical, as photos can sometimes be misleading. However, after reading several positive reviews, I decided to take a chance and booked us for a two-night stay at the Palam Suites. Despite being pregnant and facing a six-hour drive from Colombo, we took the plunge, and I'm so glad we did. The drive was long, but the moment we arrived, we knew it was worth it. The view and location were stunning, and the hotel's commitment to sustainability and the glamping concept was impressive. The beach is right outside your suite, making it a perfect getaway. We wanted to extend our stay, but the hotel was fully booked, which speaks volumes about its popularity. From the manager to our butler, Nirfas, everyone ensured our every request was met. We would definitely return again.

+: Wir haben eine Rundreise gemacht und dieses Hotel war unser vorletzter Aufenthalt und wir haben uns schon die ganze Zeit riesig gefreut. Unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar übertroffen. Ein so unglaublich guter und netter Service (Namal), so schönes, ästhetisches und luxuriöses Design sowie top Essen. Es ist der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen und für romantische Tage zu zweit. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen und war eines der Top-Highlights auf unserer Reise.

-: Garnichts (ich persönlich als Sportler habe ein kleines Gym vermisst - was für die paar Tage aber auch wirklich kein großes Problem war! )

+: We visited for our last few days in Sri Lanka and had the most glorious time. From the greeting to the goodbyes, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. A big thank you to our butler Nifras who looked after us and sorted our BBQ and massages. This is the perfect place to come to if you're looking to slow down and relax. Saying this, they do also have a number of activities to get involved with. We made use of the paddle boards which was great fun, especially to get a good view of the fisherman at work. You absolutely have to indulge on the seafood. Some of the best prawns and tuna I've ever had!

-: Food was delicious but a little slow, however we were a big group so this would explain it.

+: Traumhafte Lage am tollen Palmenstrand an dem man täglich den traditionellen Fischfang beobachten kann. Zu der Villa erhält man ein eigenes Handy mit dem man zum einen sein WLAN immer dabei hat, zeitgleich hat man Kontakt zu einem 24h Butler der alles für einen organisiert. Zu empfehlen ist auch das Spa mit sehr guten Anwendungen. Das Personal war allzeit super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war rundum traumhaft!

+: Paradise!! The staff (Ash!!), the food, the pool, the beach, the villa, the massage (brianca!!), everything is sublime. Cant wait to return one day.

+: Wir haben wundervolle Tage zum Abschluss unserer Sri Lanka Rundreise im Karpaha Sands verbracht. Der Manager Umberto und Banda, der beste Servicemitarbeiter überhaupt, haben den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht. Die Zelte warten top ausgestattet. Insbesondere die Außendusche hat es uns angetan.

-: Man muss im Karpaha etwas Zeit mitbringen: die Bestellung einer Flasche Wasser am Pool oder des Tickets zum Cappuccino kann schon mal 10-15 min dauern. Aber gestört hat das nicht wirklich: wir hatten ja Urlaub und damit sich genügend Zeit :-)

+: Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Umberto the GM and our butler Ash made us feel very comfortable and at home. Service and food in the restaurant, and poolside were very good. Most of all, the rooms are so beautiful and styled with so much detail. The privacy and peacefulness of the pristine beach made our stay so memorable.We hope to be back one day

+: O Karpaha Sands é um espaço incrível. Absolutamente direcionado para o hóspede. Tudo funciona e funciona bem. Os bungalows são luxuosos mas sem excessos. Preocupado cm o ambiente. Tudo está pensado. O Ash foi absolutamente incrível, não permitia que nada nos faltasse. Todos os pedidos são comunicados através de um telemóvel, esse telemóvel está sempre connosco o que permite que tenhamos internet onde quer que estejamos. O pequeno almoço é maravilhoso. O restaurante também é muito bom. Já estivemos em muitos alojamentos top, mas este superou todas as expectativas!

-: Não é barato, mas o preço justo para a qualidade do alojamento. A carta de vinhos era reduzida e essa sim excessivamente cara. Taça de serviço demasiado elevada
