+: the staff where nice it is out of the way. Quiet ideal for family with their own car.
-: It needs a pool, A property that size and no pool its nonsensical. It was too far away from the town too long to walk in the heat. The TukTuk Mafia have Weligama closed if a driver is seen to use Uber or Pickme they are beaten up they fix the price at 500 for any trip if you go take your own transport rent a TukTutk or scooter.

+: We stayed here as a family of 2 adults and 3 children - the apartment was spacious and had more than enough space for us and our luggage. The villas are clean, of high quality and the host was on hand to greet us and ensure all was perfect with our room. The shower had good pressure and the bedding was hotel quality. We were able to wash clothes in the hotel provided machine and dry items overnight. The site is quiet which was welcome after a few nights on the beach road! Highly recommended!

+: Jewaantha and his staff were friendly and welcoming, including helping me with laundry and providing restaurant recommendation. Room was very large with small kitchenette and big bathroom - clean and comfortable. After long trip, wonderful to do my own laundry in on-site washing machine.
-: Hotel is away from the main drag -- thought that meant it was quiet, away from the street and restaurant noise, and close to a quiet part of the beach. Hotel is not on the beach but a short 3 minute walk across the train tracks. Got lost one night walking back after sunset but helpful neighbors pointed me in the right direction.

+: The units were clean, spacious, and nicely set up. The location is very convenient to walk to the beach in <10 mins (looks longer on Google maps, but you can cut across the train tracks). We also liked that it was close to a quiet section of the beach - easy to let kids play in the water without worrying about surfers hitting them. Wifi was good. Kitchen was handy for breakfast or quick meals. Lovely garden space with trees and river
-: Nothing. Approach road is a little tight if you come in a big van but our driver managed. We took 2 units - 1 had fully functional kitchen, while the other looked a bit unfinished and sink tap didn't work properly. So do double-check with the property manager if you plan to use the kitchen
