+: Excellent location close to airport if one is transiting through Colombo as I was.

-: I thought walking from rooms on one side to restaurant on the other was bit too much.

+: nähe flughafen, pool sauber, zimmer gross und bett sensationell.sehr freunliches personal.beide restaurants okay, aber nicht aussergewöhnlich

-: leider war billard tisch kaputt. schade.überrissener preis für transport zu flughafen 15$, mit uber 3$! 10 min fahrt

+: I left my phone in the bedroom just before going to the airport. Called them 6times for them to look and try to find it and they always saying they didn’t find it anywhere. Until I told them I was going to press charge and going there with the police. Then in 1 minute they “miraculously “ found the phone. I totally felt that someone from the staff stoled my phone and that I would never see it again unless I had spoken with the police in the airport which, on the other half, was amazingly supportive and helpful!!!Besides that the hotel is expensive for the old bedrooms and facilities, all in need of refurbishment. Wont go there again for sure.

+: Location was close to the airport

-: Astounded that this is classed as a five star. The hotel contacted us two weeks prior to arrival saying that there may be some construction noise. At this point, it was really too late to book anywhere else so we went ahead with the booking thinking that the construction may be outside and not too intrusive. We were very wrong. The construction was on our corridor in the rooms next to us, non stop loud drilling, builders wandering up and down the corridor. There was a huge flood in the corridor that we had to ease through to get to the lift, it was a joke. When we asked why we couldn’t be accommodated in the other building where there wasn’t any construction, we were told that that this was for airlines. For those old enough to remember, it was really like Fawlty Towers. The fact that we were charged as much as we were, was daylight robbery, they didn’t even offer a discount. We were also quoted a total on Booking.com including taxes and it came to more than that, we were effectively overcharged (which we will pursue a refund for). Breakfast was very average (for a five star). The hotel is old , tired and I would not recommend. We can’t help feeling that we were taken advantage of.
