+: This accommodation does not exist anymore!! So don’t book it. It has a new owner which is renovating the place, so everything is still there but its closed for now and has a new name. When we arrived we figured this out!

-: The room is very old and smelly. The bed sheets were very dirty and the paints of the bathroom coming off due to the humidity. The air is very heavy in the room from the mold. The light only with the bulb and the cable all around. Internet not working. Only in the garden.

+: The building itself recreating a traditional Mexican Hacienda is so gorgeous! The rooms are so clean, spacious and comfortable. Location is amazing! Just from a 10 min walking distance from the main ferry station. You also will find many restaurants just a few steps from the hotel. But THE BEST part of Hacienda San Miguel are Gisela and Roger. They are cousins and work so hard to make sure you have an unforgettable stay. The service we received was so outstanding, making us feel so welcomed and happy to be there.

+: The room was very well equipped with kitchenette (and importantly coffee machine), air conditioning and drinking water in the room. The room was also a very good size and the communal courtyard was attractive and peaceful with table and chairs for each room. It also had great wildlife e.g iguanas and hummingbirds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location also convenient - near to the waterfront (great sunsets) and a short walk from the ferry.
-: My only complaint was having to pay a 5% surcharge for paying for the room with a credit card as opposed to cash.
