+: Everyone was really friendly, the welcome was great. The location is wonderful, you are in the heart of the town. Easy quick walk to experience local life. However it is private enough that you don't have to worry about to many people.

-: I would have to say the food. One night they had a Fiesta and it was really really really good. I wish instead of wings they would offer more of the local dishes. When traveling to other countries you like to try the food of the cultural.

+: Beach was beautiful with soft sand. Ocean bottom smooth out to the buoys. Shade palapas were incredible giving a lot of shade. Pools were warm and clean. Pool bartenders were amazing. Ice cold AC in room. Front desk staff were professional and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great with a lot of options and omelet station.

-: Had trouble with the safe twice. They sent maintenance to reopen it.

-: Rooms were a little loud. Could hear the neighbors since everything is made of stone and echos.

+: The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was lovely and can’t beat the location. I picked this resort because of the palapas and location.

-: Beach got a bit busy with non- customers and on a few days they took up some of the palapas.

+: Hardworking and friendly staff. The private beach of Playa Norte was very nice, as was the pool. We had a large clean room with a balcony and a hot tub overlooking the pool area. Very close to the ferry, shops, bars and restaurants of the island. Massages were also good at the hotel and the sauna and shower area was clean in the spa. Our favourite restaurant was Satay and we also liked Sabor for Breakfast. I think the hardworking staff in the poolbar should have a fan behind the bar, as it was very hot!

-: The pool got very busy and the poolbar could be quite packed and noisy. We'd hoped for some more varieties on the wines, sparkling wines and beers across the resort. At times the refilling of water and other items was a bit slow to the room.

+: We have been here twice now. Great location, breakfast and lunch. Love that it’s on the small side so it doesn’t feel so overwhelming.

-: Dinner was ok. Wish there was more Mexican food.
