+: Clean, very nice Rooms and open Spaces

-: The pool, not good position inside the hotel.

+: The staff was very nice and the rooms fantastic! The breakfast was fabulous and the staff as well

-: 다른것보다 도로에서 호텔까지의 길이 불편했습니다. 뒤쪽이나 지름길로 보행자가 안전하게 다닐수 있게 하길바랍니다.

+: High spec hotel. Beautiful pool area and great rooms.

-: Building work was going on right next to the pool and we had not been notified ahead of time. It wasn’t peaceful at all. We mentioned to the concierge and asked to escalate to the manager but no one contacted us to update or apologise. The roof top bar only serves spirits and is cigar bar. Expect lots of picture taking around the pool area.

+: It is nice for it to be next to the river and a ferry from the hotel going to the main pier.

-: I did not like this hotel. I did not feel welcome when I arrived. They were obviously overwhelmed with a group so we were sent to a second floor to wait. The woman who came did not explain their app or the hotel as I saw it done with other guests. She asked immediately for a card for a deposit hold. I provided my visa debit card. That would not work. I provided my American Express she said it would be charged and reimbursed in 20 days (!). I said no. Deposit holds should be reimbursed at most after a couple of days. She then said ok then I need 4000 bahts. I did not have that amount on me and I was not in any mood to go searching for atm at night. She then said ok 3000, like haggling at the night bazar! By this time I was very annoyed and then the next thing happened and Beware if you are making a booking at The Salil on booking.com and you are going with a child. I made a reservation for two adults and a child (16 years old). A room for three people. In ALL the other hotels where my family has stayed this means that they put a trundle bed for one of my two daughters to use (the other one 18 so according to booking an adult). We arrived and they show us to a small room with one double bed. I asked them if they assumed one of us would sleep on the floor. Her explanation: but it was a child. Even if it was 10 year old are parents expected to sleep with their child on a small double bed!? They finally acceded to a trundle bed but wanted to charge me 1800 bahts a night. I lost it d told them to reimburse me I would go elsewhere. At last they agreed not to charge the trundle bed. A horrible experience. The whole hotel had a kitschy trashy vibe. So I would definitely not stay here again.
