+: Adorei tudo! o staff sempre muito atencioso e atento a todos os detalhes para que proporcionassem a melhor estadia. Praia incrível, quarto e todo o design do hotel simplesmente incrível, como todo o tipo de comodidades para que nos sintamos no paraíso. A repetir sem dúvida!

+: Einfach ein Traum - wer Ruhe und eine sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtete Erholungsoase sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren Ende Mai (still low-season) hier und es war einfach der Traum!

-: Da gab es einfach gar nichts zu bemängeln! Top eingerichtet, es fehlte a nichts!

+: It was really like an oasis at the beach. The accommodation was clean and the bed really comfortable and big. We got our room cleaned twice a day : one in the morning and one in the evening to make sure to disinfect the potential insects. I liked to find our room completely clean and tidy. The rooms were ideally furnished and the aesthetic uncluttered. We chose a room with a view on the ocean and with an outside showers, which was ideal. Moreover, the hotel has a restaurant that serves really good food and the staff is always friendly and caring about guests. On the last night, we got the chance to eat under a romantic gazebo that the staff had prepared for our last honeymoon night there. Everybody really took care of us and we really appreciated that.

-: As mentioned, we had a room with view on the ocean and with an outside shower. The view on the ocean is nice, even though a little bit obstructed by the several deck chairs disposed on the beach by the hotel. Moreover, the hotel is expanding and our room was unfortunately located next to one of the room under construction. This should have been mentioned prior to our arrival by the staff. It caused a lot of discomfort due to the workers passing by our windows all day long. This was communicated to the management immediately and the management took measures on their hand to stop the problem, however, the workers kept walking by our roomwindows regardless. The outside shower is really nice. Nonetheless, the fence not being entirely closed and with the workers passing by, we didn’t feel comfortable enough to use it as much as we would have liked. Finally, we had issues with the wifi, but again the staff and management tried their best to fix it, and we even had a small gesture for that, which we really appreciated.

+: We absolutely loved our stay in Sharazad Oasis Retreat. The location is amazing, in a quiet and naturally beautiful spot, simultaneously by the sea and in the middle of biodiverse greenery, with many native trees and with red colobus monkeys passing by every day. The houses are very comfortable, cosy and pretty, designed using natural materials. There is no aircon but we did not feel too hot even during the hottest days, instead it was really pleasant to enjoy the natural air flow from the sea. The staff is really kind and helpful. The facilities are great. We particularly enjoyed the jungle pool. The food was very nice, including the breakfast. We would particularly recommend the Vietnamese restaurant, which is partly part of the hotel, absolutely delicious! The excursions we organised via the hotel were good, especially the spice farm, and we also enjoyed relaxing massages in the Naru Spa. All in all, a much recommended choice for a sustainable higher end stay! Not sure that there are many similarly amazing places to stay left in Zanzibar.

+: A beautiful resort with nice bungalows and an amazing vitnamese restaurant. Monkeys playing in front of the room was definitivly our highlight.

-: There is no AC in the rooms bungalows, the pools were dirty, service was sometimes extremely inattentive. Food and drinks cost twice, sometimes three times as much as on the rest of the island.
