A spa and sports hotel in a quiet location in Carinthia’s Möll Valley, the Erholungshotel Margarethenbad offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Grossglockner region and the Hohe Tauern National Park.
The hotel complex offers relaxation, recreation and health care. There are natural therapeutic baths with water from the Margarethen spring, containing iron, sulfur and radon. Features also include a covered outdoor pool (summer), a sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin, a solarium, a Jacuzzi (winter), a tennis court, a sunbathing area and therapeutic massages.
The restaurant offers traditional cuisine as well as weekly barbecue evenings, Italian buffets and rustic farmers’ buffets. The proximity to forests, meadows and mountains is ideal for shorter and longer hikes. There are 3 ski areas in the surrounding area.

-: Wir waren mit den Motorrädern unterwegs, und buchten eine Nacht im Margarethenbad.An der Rezeption angekommen, war der Chef anwesend. (was wir erst nicht wussten)Er duzte uns sofort, da wir alle nicht mehr die aller jüngsten sind (egal)Er sagte zu mir, du füllst die Adressen am Laptop aus, das ist was, was ich nicht gerne mache.Also fing ich an meine Adresse einzugeben.Er kam zurück und sagte bist noch nicht fertig,worauf ich sagte, ich mache nicht weiter, das ist nicht meine Aufgabe.Wir sind sehr viel mit Booking unterwegs, mittlerweile Level 3,aber sowas ist uns noch nicht vorgekommen. Er machte uns runter, wie Schulbuben,hätten wir bei ihm direkt gebucht hätten wir 20 Prozent gespart.( derTon)Bezahlen sofort in bar, mit Karte plus 3 Prozent .Abendessen, nur Menü 25 Euro.Wir fuhren demonstrativ 400 Meter ins Dorf zum Essen, und wurden dort anständig bedient. Zum Frühstück, wir wurden satt, aber 4 Sterne, weiß nicht wie die Zustande kommen, die Theke mit den großen Kaffeebehälter könnte auch in einer Jugendherberge stehen,und die Wurstanordnung könnte in einer Metzgerei sein.Ich schrieb noch nie so negativ, trotz ca.30 Booking Buchungen, aber hier kann ich nicht anderes.Die drei Schulbuben.

-: The stuff was behaving inappropriate with either inappropriate “compliments” and jokes or with unfriendliness. Hospitality is not what we experienced.

+: Die lage wahr sehr ruhig, wenig leute, fast alleine den wellnessbereich für sich
-: Zu harte madratze, essen wahr am 2ten abend nicht gut, man hat bei dem personal immer gemerkt das sie streiten (chefin) keine minibar, keine getränkecam zimmer, wellnessbereich immer erst ab 15:00, nach dem abendessen wahr kein personal mehr zu finden,
