The family-run Ferienanlage Altachhof in Saalbach enjoys a quiet location right at the end of a ski slope and has its own horse riding stable, a restaurant, a sauna and a summer outdoor pool. The ski elevators of Saalbach are easily reachable by ski bus.
All rooms and apartments have a private bathroom and a TV. Apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen. An internet station is available free of charge on site.
Characteristic Salzburg specialties and international cuisine is served in the restaurant of Altachhof. Another restaurant and a supermarket can be found 300 m away.
From May until October you can ride the property's horses at a surcharge. You can play tennis on site both in summer and winter. Minigolf, fitness and sauna facilities as well as the outdoor pool are available for free and kids can have fun in the playroom or on the playground. Guided riding and hiking tours are also offered.
Ferienanlage Altachhof offers a free shuttle service to the ski elevators of Saalbach and on your way back you can ski right down to the house.
From late May to late October, the Joker Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars and buses.
+: Man kommt an, wird sehr freundlich empfangen und denkt, hier war ich schon und man kommt nach Hause. Ab dem ersten Moment wird man in die "Familie" integriert.
-: Beim Abendessen nur ein Menü, zur Wahl, ess ich oder ess ich nicht. Uns hat es nicht gestört, da wir in dieser Beziehung relativ Schmerzfrei sind. Andere stört es.

+: Jeden Tag frisch gemachtes Bett und auf Wunsch neue Handtücher. Sehr sehr nette Eigentümer und Personal. Toll, dass es einen Skibus zu den Liften gibt, der sehr flexibel und kostenlos gebucht werden kann.
-: Zu Fuß mit kleinem Kind recht beschwerlich erreichbar, da Hanglage. In die Jahre gekommene Austattung (Küche, Teppichboden) in der Ferienwohnung, trotzdem aber noch in Ordnung und völlig ok, da wir sowieso nur dort geschlafen haben und tagsüber unterwegs waren.

+: Flott alpehotell, stort sett hyggelig personale. Ikke helt ved bakkene, men gratis drosjetransfer veier opp for dette. God mat, variert. Fine rom med god utsikt. Ok skigarderobe.
-: Infrastrukturen på frokosten kunne vært bedre. Blir mye kø, og mange av de viktigste tingene på buffeten er plassert i en trang krok hvor personalet på toppen av det hele beveger seg inn og ut hele tiden.

+: Breakfast and dinner was good. It was a set menu each evening – slightly limiting for vegetarians, but the salad buffet helped. The staff were very friendly and helpful + they helped accommodate an extra guest with zero fuss. Communication was very straightforward. The rooms were spacious and met our needs for the trip. The included ski taxi was very helpful. Final payment was easy (credit card).
-: Temperatures in the room were slightly at extremes (hot one end and ice on the window frame on the other). No kettle in the room. Limited space in the boot room. Early check-in time meant a bit of a rush from the airport.
