The family-run Ferienanlage Altachhof in Saalbach enjoys a quiet location right at the end of a ski slope and has its own horse riding stable, a restaurant, a sauna and a summer outdoor pool. The ski elevators of Saalbach are easily reachable by ski bus.

All rooms and apartments have a private bathroom and a TV. Apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen. An internet station is available free of charge on site.

Characteristic Salzburg specialties and international cuisine is served in the restaurant of Altachhof. Another restaurant and a supermarket can be found 300 m away.

From May until October you can ride the property's horses at a surcharge. You can play tennis on site both in summer and winter. Minigolf, fitness and sauna facilities as well as the outdoor pool are available for free and kids can have fun in the playroom or on the playground. Guided riding and hiking tours are also offered.

Ferienanlage Altachhof offers a free shuttle service to the ski elevators of Saalbach and on your way back you can ski right down to the house.

From late May to late October, the Joker Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars and buses.

+: Breakfast and dinner was good. It was a set menu each evening – slightly limiting for vegetarians, but the salad buffet helped. The staff were very friendly and helpful + they helped accommodate an extra guest with zero fuss. Communication was very straightforward. The rooms were spacious and met our needs for the trip. The included ski taxi was very helpful. Final payment was easy (credit card).

-: Temperatures in the room were slightly at extremes (hot one end and ice on the window frame on the other). No kettle in the room. Limited space in the boot room. Early check-in time meant a bit of a rush from the airport.

+: Die Betreiber und Service-Kräfte waren besonders freundlich, es war jeden Tag wie ein „nach Hause kommen“. Ein super Zimmer mit tollem Balkon-Ausblick. Totale Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre, sehr zuvorkommend, das Essen war klasse und auch die Organisation vom Skitaxi einfach super. Ich werde wiederkommen!

+: Really comfy, spacious room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a quiet location a little out of town but very walkable for those who enjoy a walk.

-: Breakfast was a buffet, with a broad selection of choices.

+: Das Frühstück im Hotel war super! Es gab immer frisches Obst und Gemüse und das Buffet war jederzeit gut gefüllt, auch immer noch am Ende der Frühstückszeit. Dafür hat das Personal immer sehr aufmerksam gesorgt. Auch das Abendessen war prima. Ein üppiges Salatbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen! Sonderwünsche wg Unverträglichkeiten, vegetarische oder vegane Kost wurden selbstverständlich realisiert. Unschätzbar ist der kostenlose Taxiservice zum und von den Liftanlagen! Das Personal war durchweg äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam und die Chefin hat sich jeden Abend nach dem Befinden der Gäste erkundigt. Insgesamt eine gemütliche und familiäre Atmosphäre - wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

-: Es gab kaum etwas zu kritisieren. Im Bad haben wir eine Ablagemöglichkeit vermisst. Der Saunaraum im Nachbarhaus ist großzügig und komfortabel, leider gibt es keinen wirklichen "Ruheraum".

+: Der Taxi Shuttle des Hotels

-: Die letzte Fahrt des Taxi Shuttle war bereits um 17:00 Uhr, dadurch war ein Apres Ski im Ort nur begrenzt möglich. Hier wäre eine Verlängerung auf 18:00 Uhr wünschenswert. Die Ausstattung der Küche sollte mindestens um einen Geschirrspüler erweitert werden.
