+: Basic, clean, tidy, good location, helpful staff, good value for money.

+: Excellent stay. A basic facility that did all of the important things exceptionally well. The staff were fantastic, both at the desk and in the dining room. The breakfast was really good. The original elevator was a treat. Finally, the location can't be beat. We will be back.

+: The hotel is conveniently located for tram, cafes and restaurants and close to the city. The room was spacious and adequately equipped. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast offered plenty of choice. The hotel has a number of character features; including ceilings, doors and a beautiful old lift.

-: We experienced a lot of early morning noise from builders working outside. However, we do realise that this is not the hotel's fault.
