Pretty much everything, hardly able to find any cons.Not only they upgraded our room for a better view, but we got an amazing room. We tried the foods from room services, le Sam, Champlain, Place Dufferin. We had dinner in Champlain. However the food in Champlain was disappointing. I ordered the steak and it was too dry. I also requested it to be medium cooked. However, it was cooked well done. My husband ordered duck breast. He also requested medium cooked. But it turn out to be rare and bleeding. The service was also care free and doesn’t match the grading of the restaurant. We also ordered fois gras. It was burnt and tasted bitter. The sauce didn’t match. It maybe one of the worst fois gras we ever had. We had a River view room on the 3rd floor. Beautiful views, the bed was so comfortable. We arrived early and they had a room for us in the time it took for us to drive down from our other hotel to here when I called to inquire about checkin. Bistro Le Sam had amazing drinks and food and the service was phenomenal. Staff went out of their way to make us feel special. Hotel itself is absolutely beautiful inside and out. I was disappointed by the Easter brunch because it only included 1 glass of champagne at a cost of $160 pp. I feel at that price it should have been open bar.We paid the extra for a king deluxe room. I expected the room to be bigger and the view nicer than it was. Also expected a larger bathroom.
