-: I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the AVLIDA HOTEL from 25062024 to 29062024. I had booked two rooms for this stay, and upon arrival, we discovered that the air conditioning in one of the rooms was not working. The temperature in the room was unbearable, and it was impossible to sleep comfortably. We immediately requested a room change, but we were informed that the hotel was fully booked and that no other rooms were available. As a result, we were forced to accommodate six people in a single room for the first night, despite having paid for two separate rooms. We attempted to speak to a manager about the situation, but our requests were repeatedly ignored. The hotel staff simply shrugged their shoulders and stated that these things happen. We also requested compensation for the inconvenience caused by the inoperable air conditioning, but our request was denied. The hotel staff then suggested that we contact Booking.com directly to seek compensation. This response was frustrating and time-consuming, as we had already spent considerable time trying to resolve the issue with the hotel staff. It felt like we were being passed around and having our concerns dismissed. The following day, the hotel staff offered to upgrade us to a different room. While the new room did have working air conditioning, it was significantly smaller than the room we had originally booked. This was not an upgrade, but rather a downgrade in terms of size and comfort. In addition to the air conditioning issue, we also encountered other problems during our stay. The water pressure in the shower was extremely weak, making it difficult to take a proper shower

-: Δεν ηταν καθόλου καθαρό το δωμάτιο. Βρώμικο μπάνιο και πετσέτες. Το κλιματιστικό δεν δούλευε στο δωμάτιο παρόλο που το είχαμε πει στην υποδοχή, με αποτέλεσμα να πρέπει να κοιμηθούμε με ανοιχτό παράθυρο καλοκαίρι καιρό! Το πρωί ξυπνήσαμε από τις 7 παρά λόγω του θορύβου από την καθαριότητα που εκτελουσαν οι υπάλληλοι του ξενοδοχείου στους έξω χώρους! Επίσης στη πισίνα υπήρξε πολλή βρωμιά στο χώρο που ήταν οι ξαπλώστρες. Τα 4 αστέρια δεν αντιπροσωπεύουν καθόλου το ξενοδοχείο αυτό! Όπως και η σχέση τιμής και ποιότητας!

+: Cleaning stuff nice and helpful. Quite comfortable beds.

-: Dirty towels, greasy breakfast food, weak coffee, little variety of fruits, unhelpful staff, except for one lady at the reception. Noisy air conditioning and not very efficient. Bathroom without ventilation. Unpleasant smell in whole hotel area. Plastic cups and glasses.

+: Το πρωινό εξαιρετικό! Τοποθεσία πολύ καλή! Καθαριότητα πολύ καλή! Άνετα κρεβάτια!

-: Πιστεύω ότι για 4* δεν αξίζει. Προσπάθησε να γίνει συντήρηση στα δωμάτια αλλά χρειαζεται ακόμη λιγη δουλειά. Τα ερμαρια παλιά και μυριζαν άσχημα...

+: Svidjela mi se soba ,a posebno pogled na more. Hrana je vrlo dobra i osoblje ljubazno.

-: Sobe su čiste ali sveukupno hotel baš i nije. Posebno terase. Hotel se nalazi u pomalo derutnom stanju što se na slikama baš i ne vidi.

+: Osoblje je profesionalno, ljubazno i uslužno. Hotel je dobar. Hrana dosta dobra. Blizu je obale, ali i povijesnih lokacija. 👍

-: La déco de l’établissement est vétuste, la propreté des chambre ainsi qu’une des piscine laisse à désirer.. de plus les transat autour ne sont pas top et les gens qui séjournent dans l’hôtel laissent leur serviette sur les transat et s’en vont ailleurs la journée ce qui fait que certaine personne n’ont pas de transat alors qu’en réalité personne ne se sert de certains.. la literie n’est pas confortable et les coussin trop épais, l’air conditionné dans les chambre ne marche pas très bien. Après 18h vous ne pouvez plus manger de glace et il les vende 4€ le prix du paquet.. pas d’accès direct à la plage. Enfin bref au prix de la nuit j’estime qu’il devrait relever le niveau. Je ne trouve pas que cet hôtel mérite les 4 étoiles

+: Il mare di Paphos, ma non era merito dell'hotel.

-: La camera scelta era una suite: a parte un piccolo rinnovo delle prese elettriche, il resto era deludente. I sanitari erano obsoleti e malfunzionanti, di dimensioni ridotte (solo un lavello di design, utile solo per le fotografie di presentazione), ma scarsamente funzionale. Il divano letto era vecchio, sfondato con un materassino solo molle e niente imbottitura. Il controllo dell'aria condizionata non funzionava e la pulizia lasciava molto a desiderare. Il ristorante presentava proposte di scarsa qualità e un ricorso ossessivo al riciclo degli alimenti non consumati il giorno precedente; nessuna presenza accettabile di pesce. In tutto l'hotel non c'era la possibilità di bere un bicchiere di acqua, solo bottigliette in vendita. Piscina piccola e super affollata in spazi ristretti. Una delle cose che mi hanno particolarmente infastidito era quella che il riassetto delle camere l'hotel lo garantiva dalle 9 del mattino, alle 16 del pomeriggio: nel mio caso sempre tra le 15 e le 16. Ora credo debba essere tenuto in considerazione che al mare, nelle ore più calde, si ritorna in hotel per una doccia rinfrescante ed un piccolo riposo; cose impossibili con questi orari di rifacimento delle camere: a vuoto ogni possibilità di cambiamento.
