The beach can be reached in just 7 minutes. The Smartline Protaras is located in the resort of Pernera, 2 km from the center of Protaras. The beach and local shops are a few minutes' walk away. It features an outdoor pool, tennis court and free Wi-Fi throughout.

The rooms at the Smartline Protaras have a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels (including children's). There is also air conditioning, a refrigerator and tea / coffee making facilities. Many of the balconies offer a picturesque view of the coast and the Mediterranean Sea. On request, highchairs are available.

The Pavilion restaurant serves international and Cypriot cuisine, while drinks from the Windmill Tavern are available in the poolside garden.

Guests at the Smartline Protaras can enjoy a game of squash and massage treatments, a well-equipped gym, a sauna or a games room with tables for table tennis and billiards. Entertainment is organized daily, live music is performed 2-3 times a week. Small guests are expected in the children's club and in the children's playroom. +: Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und modern eingerichtetes Doppelzimmer, bzw. zwei mit Verbindungstür. Es war erst renoviert worden. Die schlechten Bewertungen zu den Zimmern stammen wohl von davor. Gefliester Boden, sehr gute Betten, blaue LED an den Fenstern, TV (ARD Pro7 bekannte Streamingkanäle) noch mit Schutzfolie, modernes Bad. Ein besser eingerichtetes Zimmer habe ich nie gesehen! Nicht übermäßig groß, aber ausreichend und mit Balkon. Wir hatten AI, es gab nur wenige Gäste, es war Oktober. Die Buffets sahen immer nahezu gleich aus. Es gab Huhn, Schwein, Rind, Fisch, Pasta, gebackenen Käse. Zum Frühstück lecker warme Hörnchen und frisch gebackene, mit Schokolade gefüllte Blätterteigteile. Zu allen Malzeiten konnte man sich frisch gepressten O-Saft nehmen! Hab ich zuvor noch nie erlebt, jedenfalls nicht kostenfrei! Die Hotelanlage war schön GRÜN angelegt. Animation tagsüber und am Abend war gegeben (gering nur, aber dem Oktober angemessen). Billard, Tischtennis, Dart waren vorhanden. Das Personal war immer freundlich. Ayia Napa mit seinen vielen Lokalitäten ist nicht weit, aber auch Protaras bietet so einiges. Wer die Insel im Ganzen sehen will ist wohl aber zu weit östlich.

-: Am Wochenende wurde das Hotel von einer Gruppe Einheimischer besucht. Diese (bei Gruppen ja üblich, auch in Deutschland) war laut, sie rauchten beim Essen im Außenbereich, trotz Verbot, es wurde nicht eingeschritten. Es gab live cooking auf der Terrasse. Leider wurde für die wenigen Gäste vorgekocht und das Essen mit Folie abgedeckt. Es war praktisch immer kalt. Wir reisten am 30.10. ab und wollten zuvor zu Mittag essen. Trotz AI gab es nach dem Frühstück nichts mehr. Das Hotel schloss an diesem Tag, alles wurde eingemottet. An der Bar gab es zumindest noch ausgesuchte Getränke - um nicht Reste zu sagen - letztlich hatte ich Verständnis, wir DREI waren die einzigen Gäste.

+: Je vidět, že hotel je nový nebo nově zrekonstruovaný. Vše čisté, pěkné, pohodlné postele. Výborné jídlo, velmi milý personál, čistý bazén. Absolutně není co vytknout. Jen škoda, že je to krapínek dál od moře, ale ostatní služby a ochota personálu to naprosto vynahradili.
