Located 200 m from Alexandria’s waterfront on the Mediterranean Sea, Cherry Maryski combines modern amenities with traditional features.

+: After six weeks travel this was the best hotel I stayed at, 12 floors, full of original design and character and staff that put great service first, I got a free upgrade to a junior suite, the room was large with a great view, lovely big bathroom and deep bath and high tech shower, also a super comfortable bed. The breakfast and restaurant food was very good and service always exemplary. The hotel is hidden away about 100m from the main sea promenade so can be tricky to find but its worth tracking down. Straight away the unorthodox design and layout grabs you like a film set, its quirky and stylish but so very comfortable. Its a great base for exploring, the library is within walking distance, the promenade good for a morning run. I was made exceptionally welcome, and genuinely didn't want to leave which is really the highest compliment I can pay to a hotel.
-: The 12th floor was blocked off but as the staff said, this was due to the high winds and for guest safety, I could accept that even though I missed the spectacular view from so high up. The pool was also out of service, another feature I would have gladly used. The only other glitch was the internet, it needs an overhaul and isn't up to the standards modern travelers expect. They are well aware of this. These were minimal glitches in what was quite a luxurious stay.

+: Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, breakfast was standard but very good quality. Minor issues were always quickly resolved. Well recommended for staying over with family and little kids.
-: Some or most of the sockets in the room were not properly functioning, they were kind of worn out which made charging devices a bit tricky.

-: اطلالة الفندق , على الرغم من انه تم الترقيه الى اطلاله على البحر الا انني فوجئت بالمنازل و اسطح المنازل المقابله المليئة بالكراكيب و المنظر غير جيد ليس لكم ذنب فيها اقترح لكم : التعاون مع اصحاب تلك العمارات بزراعة الاسطح بابسط الامكانيات نجيله صناعي و بعض الزهور ستعطي اطلاله رائعه و مبهجه و كانها حديقه ورديه

+: Very helpful staff during check in and check out, location was very close to multiple attractions at convenient prices! The breakfast was great with a good variety of food. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable!
