Surrounded by a large garden, this resort is located in Tsqaltubo and offers hot mineral baths. Free WiFi and massage services are featured at Tskaltubo Spa Resort.
The air-conditioned rooms offer warm-colored interiors and classic-style decor. Every room comes complete with a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar and a private bathroom.
A restaurant, serving European cuisine, is on site. Diet menu and barbecue facilities are also available.
Guests can play table tennis, billiards, darts or go hiking and cycling. A games room, a children’s playground and karaoke are also offered for guests’ relaxation.
The famous Sataplia Caves and the adjacent dinosaur prints are 3.7 mi from the resort. Kutaisi International Airport is 14 mi from Tskaltubo Spa Resort.

+: It was a trip back in time. Very green.
-: It was kind of spooky and a little too Soviet for something that was supposedly “refurbished” on one wing. Certainly was authentic and not a modern experience. One gate was locked by 10pm and we couldn’t get in and then it’s not terribly well lit when you have to walk all the way across the property from the main gate. Lobby bar was never open. Property is not well marked so unclear where to go when checking in, the staff were accommodating and showed us around the “attraction” when we asked. Rooms clean enough but not cozy - austere and basic. For the amount we were charged in off-season it’s clear that one is paying for the amusement of a trip back in time and that’s all. If they are going to charge for that as they do - they should add a good storyteller or make it a little more interesting rather than just creepy.

+: The grounds are beautiful, as are the renovated buildings. The place has a very cool vibe - old school opulence. There is a small barlounge in the lobby where you can have a drink. There is a nice outdoor pool in the back for warmer weather. Breakfast is in a separate building - beautiful dining room, variety of food and tasty. It's easy to walk into town and there is a large green park across the street. Small balcony overlooking the grounds.
-: I was disappointed that the radon baths are not actually on the property - you have to leave the grounds, cross the street, and walk into the park to get to Spring no. 6 for the radon bath. The only treatments available at Legends are the physiotherapy treatments (not available on Sundays). The pricing of the radon baths was also misleading. I was told it at Legends that the bath is 12lari for 20 minutes, but when I went to Spring no 6, I found that the 12lari price is only if you buy two visits on two different days (12lari per visit). If you are only there one day and want a radon bath, the price is 25lari for 20 minutes. Ultimately, I enjoyed the history of the spa and the architecture, loved the breakfast, but the place doesn't have a "spa" vibe.
