Altamar Hotel enjoys a quiet location 500 m from the pebbly beach, 2 hours’ drive from Athens. It is located in the coastal resort of Pefki (pine tree in Greek) in Evia. Focal point of the hotel is the pool with its pool bar.
All of thrr Altamar guest rooms enjoy relaxing views over the sea and swimming pool area. They are air conditioned and feature free Wi-Fi, a plasma TV and hairdryer.
Hotel facilities also include a reception and lounge area, where guests can benefit from free Wi-Fi Internet access. Parking at the hotel is also free.
Pefki is a favorite Evia resort, with crystal clear waters ideal for swimming. The sandy beach is 2.5 mi away. From here, you can take the flying dolphin and visit the islands of Skopelos, Skiathos and Alonissos.

+: Lovely family run hotel. The rooms are large comfortable and well appointed. The staff are very helpful and take a pride in all they do. All areas of the hotel are clean Evening meals are very good and the menu interesting and the costs of eating in the hotel are reasonable. This is an hotel for all ages. Children are well catered for. There are some safe beaches nearby. Cannot fault this establishment. If in this beautiful area again we will stay again

+: Mooie setting van de eetruimte (aan het zwembad), heel goeie keuken (naast ontbijt kon je er ook lunchen en dineren), echt een aanrader. Het personeel van het restaurant en aan het onthaal was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mooie en ruime kamer (hadden familiekamer) met ruim terras. Ruime parking.
-: Ontbijt werd geserveerd en we werden op de vingers getikt indien we zelf iets namen. Vond ik niet zo aangenaam. Het was ook weinig gevarieerd, amper vers fruit (eerst zure kersen, daarna was het watermeloen maar aangezien geserveerd was men er heel zuinig mee) en voor de rest voornamelijk enkel vettige dingen (groot contrast met de gerechten a la carte!)

+: Mooie grote kamer, elke dag keurig schoongemaakt
-: Het ontbijt was elke dag hetzelfde, en er was geen fruit bij. Dus iets meer variatie dat was beter geweest.
