The Creta Beach is 4-star resort hotel offering spacious accommodations and an array of facilities on the 5.6 mi white sandy beach of Ammoudara. Free WiFi access is provided, and free on-site parking is possible. Heraklion City is 3.1 mi away.
This holiday hotel has a great selection of guest accommodations on offer. Guests can choose between the standard guest rooms or the pretty bungalows which are located in the hotel’s gardens.
Set close to the beach, the main restaurant features Aegean Sea views and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner on buffet style. The a-la-carte restaurant offers delicious Greek and international dishes, appetizers salads and desserts.
Leisure facilities at the hotel include a large swimming pool and sun-bathing area, tennis courts and beach volleyball. There is also evening entertainment. For children, there is a separate swimming pool and a mini-club.

+: Sehr freundliches Personal, die Livemusik bei der Poolbar (Freitag und Samstag) und der Zugang zum Strand waren toll. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr schön und weitläufig.
-: All-in ist NICHT All-in. Für fast alle Getränke muss trotzdem (nicht wenig!) bezahlt werden (z.B. 0,33l Cola 4€ normal, 3€ für All-in Gäste) und das Personal an der Rezeption konnte uns nicht sagen, was dabei ist und was nicht, diese Info mussten wir extra beim Barpersonal nachfragen. Die Marmeladen beim Frühstück und die Fruchtsäfte haben extrem künstlich geschmeckt, im Bad KANN das Fenster nicht geschlossen werden (weil es keine Lüftung gibt), was der Klimaanlage ziemlich entgegenspielt. In einem Info Blatt stand, dass die Zimmer nur auf Nachfrage gereinigt werden (fanden wir Nachhaltigkeitstechnisch gut!) und dennoch war plötzlich jemand in unserem Zimmer um es zu putzen. Auch Handtücher werden angeblich "nur auf Wunsch" getauscht, wurden aber regelmäßig getauscht. Obwohl das Personal selbst sehr freundlich war, war die gesamte Organisation dahinter also ziemlich verwirrend und unkoordiniert.

+: Location was great, service was excellent, food was exceptional (we had breakfast and dinner). Receptionists were very helpful. Swimming pool was clean and warm. Environment was cozy and safe. Recommend to all guests.
