The Creta Star is an all-inclusive hotel on the wonderful beach of Skaleta. This 4-star hotel offers quality accommodations and great facilities for all ages in a pretty location.
The hotel has 324 guest rooms, most of which have views over the sea. Each room is brightly decorated, includes a modern bathroom and features a balcony or terrace.
All meals and selected drinks are included in the all-inclusive package at the Creta Star. Buffet-style meals are served in the main restaurant or in the poolside bar and guests can enjoy a great choice of international food, plus of course many Greek dishes.
Leisure facilities at the hotel include 2 swimming pools, tennis courts and a gym. There is also an activity program which includes water aerobics and beach volleyball, plus evening entertainment. For children there is a playground and mini-club.
The Creta Star has pretty gardens that run down to its 366 m private beach. The resort of Rethymno is 7.5 mi away.

+: Complejo grande en el que las personas se pueden repartir cómodamente. Acceso directo a la playa, que cuenta con personal de vigilancia, duchas y lavabos. Hay varias actividades diurnas, el día se te hace ameno y entretenido. Las hamacas son cómodas y las sombrillas son grandes, se recomienda llevar toallas extras y pinzas para colgarlas de la sombrilla y ganar más sombra. La habitación es muy espaciosa y luminosa. La comida es variada y entre las comidas principales tienes sandwich y helados Una vez hecho el checkout nos permitieron quedarnos en el complejo, se agradece mucho
-: Se deberían mejorar los shows nocturnos, en diversos momentos resultan sexistas e irrespetuosos hacia algunos colectivos de la sociedad. Nos dio incomodidad. Según donde tengas la habitación se escucha la autopista día y noche. Los horarios de las comidas no son como en el resto del país, están más orientados al público mayoritario que tienen

+: This place is perfect if you just want to chill for a few days. The food and drinks on offer are very decent, lots of places to lounge by the pool. It's also right on the beach. There are several very cute friendly little cats (very unobtrusive). The guests are generally not British but from other parts of western Europe. There is a very full animation programme that we never participated in, but seemed very popular. Staff are all friendly and efficient.
-: The sofa bed is not comfortable. The water can be choppy and you won't be allowed to swim if this is the case. They have a redambergreen system. I'm not sure how much they can police this but they do have a lifeguard. Some of the food was a little bit under seasoned but overall very nice. The location isn't great if you want to do anything outside the hotel, however this didn't bother us as we just wanted to relax. The hotel isn't really near any towns, but it is on the bus route.
