Tours and prices for holidays at the hotel Labranda Sandy Villas 5* 2024-2025 Greece, Corfu (island)

+: Evening entertainment was varied in genre but all were professional, each different from the other and all very enjoyable. The all-round attitude of staff was always very high, even by Greek standards which, we find, generally exceed those of most other Med nations.

-: General resort and pool cleanliness was excellent. The only poor element of whole experience was the room cleaning, which was also generally good but let down by one staff member.

+: Our stay at Kairaba was lovely, the food was great, the room and facilities were excellent. The staff were friendly, especially Charis, a waiter in the restaurant he always had a smile for everyone, and we feel that's important!! The location within the village was brilliant and gave you the opportunity to stretch your legs wandering down to the beach and to use the facilities at Labranda.

-: Obviously wet weather cannot be helped but safety precautions have to be considered specifically on the porcelain tiles by and leading up to the reception. Walking slowly, I fell and injured myself, there was no signage or antislip mats in the relevant place. Taking into consideration that there were many senior guests, this incident could have been a lot worse. The reception staff also didn't seem concerned when we mentioned the incident informally and actually laughed and pointed at a single mat inside the reception. Not impressed with that at all.Only other element was the lack of beach towels available we asked a number of times for beach towels but they never arrived.

+: The location of the hotel is a bit surprising, but when you see the complex of the adults section the facilities are really good. Our room had a shared swimming pool which was still a bit chilly beginning of may. The room is really spatious for 2 people.

-: The hotel has a bar at the swimming pool and at the lobby. In the evening however when it gets a bit chilly there is no cosy corner in at the entrance lobby. It looks chique with all white, but for having a drink in the evening it misses a place to sit together with some less lights on.

+: Die Ruhe, die angenehme Atmosphäre, die Architektur, das Personalder Service und das Essen im Großen und Ganzen

-: Die Bereiche, die im Labranda nebenan liegen, insbesondere der Fitness-Bereich.Die Cocktails waren dort auch eine Katastrophe.

+: Very chilled nice food friendly staff and lots of different places to go in resort.

-: The All Inclusive drinks restrictions Wi-Fi poor entertainment poor. Also the beach Kairaba pool area should be more strict on who can visit.

+: This resort promises paradise! Luxurious premises and furniture, beautiful views, helpful staff, and a nice restaurant (not delicious, not good, just nice).

-: However, our dream quickly turned sour. We picked a Junior Suite with Sharing Pool, looking forward to a peaceful poolside experience. But the reality? Far from peaceful.Our "quiet" pool? Far from it! It was constantly disrupted by our next-door neighbours, who shared the swimming pool with us, blasting Turkish and house music from morning to evening through their speakers. 🫨Reading in peace? Forget about it! Relaxing as we had hoped for? Impossible!🙄Desperate for some peace, we called the front desk daily. Their response? A feeble "We tried" and a “It’s not too loud, right?”But did they? They also claimed to have "tried" relocating us, but apparently, the hotel was full. Frustratingly, we had to constantly chase them for even this bit of information. No apologies, no proper explanations!☹️They even said asking our neighbours to lower their music was like telling us to stop speaking. 🤯 How absurd!Adding to our misery, our room wasn’t fit for more than two. The spare beds and sofa were a nightmare to sleep on, leaving us aching and tired. Our deck-chairs? Cushion-less! The solution offered by the staff? “You can use the deck chairs at the pool bar instead.”😳We came with high hopes, enticed by the resort's glossy image. Instead, we felt bullied, unimportant, pushed aside and deeply disappointed. 😤The resort might be a dream for some, but for us, it was a failed promise.😣In essence, many might find their dream vacation here. But if your experience echoes ours, it's a hard pass. 😡Better luck to those who try! 🤞
