+: The beds are incredible comfortable and the bungalows are large with private patios
-: I arrived to find that the sister hotels were being renovated and the area was essentially a building site and all facilities were unavailable (spa, restaurant beach etc). There was no water when I arrived and whilst this was back on later that day it was again off when I woke the next morning (due to the building works) Again, due to building works, the hotel felt isolated and as a solo traveller it did not feel safe walking along the beach for fooddrinks in the evening. I had stayed here previously and rebooked because I had enjoyed my trip there so much.I moved to a different hotel after 2 nights but am sure that once renovations are completed this will (again) be a great place to stay.

+: Location
-: It's not what it used to be, yet that applies to most hotels and businesses in Bali at present. It's a sad sight to observe. One would think that because the island relies on tourism as its main income stream, hotel owners would use the last few months of lockdown to clean their places, wash curtains, paint, clear up the overgrown gardens and be ready for tourists. We've learned of 2 hotels that kept their staff and maintained their properties. It's under renovation, which they did not indicate. The breakfast is crap, the place is dirty and for one day we had no electricity, no water and toilets couldn't flush. At 10 pm they offered us a voucher to stay in another hotel for the night.

+: it was very tropical. lots of trees and birds.
-: it was far from everything. No pool, no restaurant, no anything. the beach was filthy with garbage. the rooms were dirty. Our toilet was dirty, garbage still in the cans, from someone else. we complained to the front desk. They were very nice, and understanding. They refunded our remaining stay, and we moved to another hotel. turns out that they are going to tear down this property, and build a hospital.

+: de plek vlakbij het strand
-: oude huisjes, vieze douche , airco deed het niet. hele dag lawaai door renovatie project

+: beach location was good as was proximity to Sanur beach front and many other eating places.
-: first room we were allocated had holes in door, which allowed mosquitoes ready access and the bathroom was poor. We were offered and accepted a move to another room, where bathroom had been updated and ceiling replaced (minus cornices). Many areas of the walls were affected by salt damp and the paint and plaster was peeling. Furniture was old and it was evident that a drawer did not fit the space and it prevented another drawer from opening. The pool was initially out of order, but once apparently made safe for swimming it never looked appealing for the whole of our visit. The restaurant was closed. The breakfast was a poor standard, with the bain-maries were not kept warm. All paths throughout the resort had many trip hazards including holes. No hot water initially this was fixed promptly.
