+: The property is an tranquil oasis. A sense of calm as you enter reception envelopes the whole hotel. Staff are so polite and friendly and make you feel so welcome. We have been going g back to Komune now for years and it is still as beautiful as the first day we went.

-: I could not find the switch to turn off the fan in my room. The switch needs to be more visible. I never did find it! Considering the high price, I thought the room was pretty underwhelming tbh.

+: The gym is wonderful and well equipped. I enjoyed my fitness classes there by an Indonesian instructor. Food is excellent, a great variety of healthy options. My absolute fav drink was cocopresso (coconut and espresso), the list was endless. The beach looks great for surfing, but it’s not suitable for a swim and even walking isn’t that pleasant, but this I knew in advance. A beautiful spa, had a lovely a treatment in there. I appreciated the silence boards there, the staff really wants to ensure you can have a quiet, relaxing rejuvenating time in this resort. A lot of toddlers around, but they all looked happy - who wouldn’t in such a lovely place?!
