+: The staff were exceptional and very attentive. The resort was so relaxing and pool was out of a dream. It really allowed you to zone out and forget about back home.The staff and manager were wonderful enough to treat us to a romantic dinner inside their temple on our final night which just topped off the trip!! They even catered to our dietary needs very well.Was amazing being amongst nature. The lizards, snails, bugs, birds, squirrels are all so wonderful to watch!! So different from the UK.

-: I can't really fault the hotel, maybe one thing I might just say is the breakfast menu should be relabelled to be more clear about allergies and intolerances. Other than that though, perfect!!

+: If you want complete relaxation and feel the true spirit of the island, then this is your place. Away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, you will find a perfect setting, wonderful breakfast and unique massages. We used a pool villa and the location was very convenient for organizing visits to other attractions on the island. Wonderful staff and service!

-: The restaurant's evening menu leaves much to be desired

+: Amazing views with the infinity pool overlooking the valley. Staff very friendly and attentive. A really great selection of food for breakfast lots of choice for all different tastes and appetites. We had a villa with private pool - we returned after visiting 5 years previously as we wanted to go back. We even got another amazing little leaving present which is a lovely touch.

-: I can’t fault anything - but lots of steep steps which can be hard in the heat! But that’s what you have to do for the views.

+: Ein Aufenthalt im Pita Maha ist eine Zeitreise. Die Villen sind im balinesischen Baustil gebaut, sehr authentisch. Die Anlage an sich ist quasi ein botanischer Garten. Das Hotel wird von Einheimischen geführt, schon das ist ein Grund warum wir wieder kommen werden. Ein Teil der MitarbeiterInnen ist schon seit der Eröffnung 1996 dort beschäftigt, sie tun alles, dass sich die Gäste wohl fühlen und sind auch sehr stolz auf ihr Haus. Der Service ist excellent, die Küche sehr gut, immer frisch und es gibt nicht nur internationale Küche sondern vor allem sehr gute indonesische Küche. Die Villen mit privatem Pool sind privat, der Ausblick in die Berge ist atemberaubend. Auch die Anwendungen und der Spa Bereich sind sehr gut. Das Haus wurde bereits 1996 eröffnet und wie bei allen Hotels auf Bali arbeitet auch hier die Natur und das Wetter am Baumaterial. Das haben wir bei allen sehr exklusiven Häusern während unserer Bali Reise erlebt. Das ist dem Klima hier geschuldet. Um im Hotel zurecht zu kommen sollte man ein bisschen gut zu Fuß sein, wie gesagt, es ist ein botanischer Garten mit vielen Wegen Treppauf Treppab, auch in der Villa gibt es einige Treppen zu bewältigen. Das Hotel liegt im Norden von Ubud, fußläufig sind einige sehr gute Restaurants zu erreichen und auch gute Spa Angebote. Ausserdem muss man nicht jedes Mal durch den kompletten Ubud Verkehrsirrsin durch wenn man Auflüge in den Norden und in die Reisterreassen macht. Es gibt einen Shuttle-Bus nach Ubud für diejenige die gerne geshuttelt werden. Ansonsten ist nebenan auch ein vertrauenswürdiger Roller-Verleih. Nachmittagstee nicht entgehen lassen - dazu gibt es besondere Leckereien. Wer Authentizität liebt ist hier richtig.

-: Die Sofas sind auch hier wie in den meisten Hotels nicht wirklich gemütlich zum Sitzen, ist aber halt so der Stil hier.
