-: Our only comment would be wait for food when ordered from the a la carte menu or room service. Buffet is obviously instant and hot beverages came quickly with breakfast. But if ordering off a menu, the food took a long time to arrive (talking an hour!)Spa needs updating. Also better signage. Otherwise lovely.

+: Infrastruktur der Anlage schön und gut. Die Dusche hatte fliessend Wasser. Der Strand ist gross.
-: Essen war sehr langweilig und hat nicht geschmeckt. Personal wimmelte rund ums Gym-Glasshaus bei den Frauen - sehr unangenehm. Keine geschulten Kellner. Preisleistungsverhältnis grottenschlecht für ein 5 Sterne Resort. Insbesondere zu den guten viel günstigeren Hotels sonst. Nicht zu empfehlen.

-: dinners and service to be improved. overpriced in comparisson to other hotels next. a lot of extremely impolite russian tourists during our visit which made our stay uncomfortable (not hotel fault of course, but some issues were related to hotel staff as well).

+: For our second visit to Passikudah we chose Anantaya Resort and we couldn't have chosen better. From the first moment to the end we were looked after by the friendly staff, especially Rishopana and Kanogitha. We booked this resort for a room with direct access to the pool and we were lucky to get perhaps the nicest room. But what makes this resort special is the people who work here. We also spoke with the friendly beachpool attendant S. and likewise the waiters and cooks at breakfast and dinner did everything they could to make the guests happy. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. My husband was delighted that the waiters here could spin a beer with a foam cap. The room was very nice and clean. The pool was cleaned regularly too. Free sunbeds on the beach. Beautiful beach and walks. If we had not booked another stay before, we would have stayed longer. We will definitely be back here soon!
