+: Heerlijk gelegen aan het strand. Fijne (iets gedateerde) kamer, wel keurig schoon en voorzien van goede wifi.Personeel zeer behulpzaam, zowel voor kamer als restaurant.

+: The beach and location

-: Everywhere you smell dry fish and too much flies around due to cleaning issues. Toilet and communal area with mould. Front office staff approach to cancel booking.com reservation and offered further 10% discount at the check in. I reckon this is why guest who cancelled their reservation and got direct room hire from the hotel, can't keep true reviews.

+: Nothing went well. Overall it was a terrible and horrific experience even though we did not stay at the property.

-: To start with it's the service. Rukshan is simply a terrible person, period. I spoke to him 4 times before the day of check in. Not once he mentioned the property was undergoing renovation. Once arrived at the property from travelling 60+ km we found out that the front portion of the hotel (ONLY AREA WE SAW) going under renovation. Secondly, I booked on full board basis and booking.com showed as buffet. Rukshan did not mention it was not Buffet at any given point until we arrived at the property and then said it's only set menu. The pool was covered in Dust from renovation work and the water was discolored. The kids were horrified to even walk around or to just see the pool area. When I asked why Rukshan did not mention about the renovation, he said it's because he though we would cancel the reservation. Clearly they did not give a hoot about the customer, they only wanted the money. It was very obvious they were they handled my reservation. And this Rukshan person did not even have the common curtesy to even apologize ones. He was simply smiling and smirking the entire time just looking at the computer. I would never go back even if they offer it free of charge.

+: Please do not publish rooms of this hotel to anyone as hotel is going some renovations. Staff also do not know exact place lunch serve. we went twice up and down to find the lunch place . none in the hotel aware where to serve the lunch etc. dirty place , constructions are going on , therefore its better not to publish in your website on this hotel. finally we stayed another hotel.

-: staff constantly calling, knocking at my door at all hours. I arrived in the early hours of the morning but there was no bottled water in my room and none available until housekeeping arrived the next day
