Goldi Sands Hotel offers beachfront accommodations in Negombo, a 15-minute drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. Surrounded by colonial Dutch buildings, it offers free parking and has a freshwater outdoor pool.
Air-conditioned guest rooms feature a private balcony which overlooks the beautiful Indian Ocean. Each room is equipped with a minibar, tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV.

+: L'emplacement, la plage avec les locaux devant qui est très chaleureuse.
-: Renseigné 5* sur Booking, correspond plutôt à un 3*. Propre mais pas entretenu. Grand bâtiment bondé de monde. Personnel peu, voire pas du tout accueillant, sauf le porteur de bagages très sympathique. Hôtel très très touristique par rapport à ce qu'on a l'habitude de faire (hôtel réservé en dernière minute car changement de programme).

+: Nice room lovely view. Pool was great. Most of the staff were very helpful.
-: Some of the bar and dining staff were very short with you. On one occasion I wanted to pour my own beer which nearly led to a wrestling match with the waiter. Asked reception to print out boarding passes. They gave me an email for reception but the email box was full and they did not know how to clear it. Evening Buffet was average and very expensive. More than a much better buffet in the Galle Face Hotel.

+: Amazing hotel! the beach is beautiful and hotel really clean. Everyone was super nice and friendly. The only thing is a long wait for food and drink but we noticed it is everywhere around Sri Lanka😂 overall amazing stay will definitely come back

-: Return flight was at midnight. if they offered a Late check out when requested would have made it our stay much more enjoyable. Had to check out at noon and wait in the lobby for a 3 hours for the ride to the airport. Guest comfort and satisfaction should be their 1st priority.
