Leopard Trails is a 6-hour drive from Colombo and a 6.5-hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. The Bundala National Park is 25 km away, the Bundala National Park is 30 km away, and the Yala National Park is 7 km away.
The spacious tents are equipped with air conditioning, electronic safe and seating area. In addition to safari trips, guests can play games, engage in various activities, and relax in the lounge with a cocktail or a glass of fine wine from the full-range bar.

-: Didn’t know we could not come out of the camp until departure. Our vehicle and driver stayed else where and was brought to the camp in their vehicle. Was not told before hand about transportation. We had planned to go out for dinner the first night but could Jit do so. This should be very early explained

+: Given recent reviews on google, we were a bit skeptical at first. But it seems that whatever feedback was given, action from hotel management followed quickly. We found the tents in great condition (fabrics almost new) and all common areas recently renovated with new wood floorings, bar area and welcome tent. The staff and especially your personal guide for the safari are amazing and super attentive. We had a great time, spotted leopards, enjoyed cold Gin and Tonics. Highly recommend Leopard trails if you’re looking for a glamping nature adventure.

-: Food was good, but a little bland. Pretty expensive. Especially park fees, $320 for 2 people for 4 safaris, plus $50 per jeep trip from the lodge. Safaris are always expensive, but it all adds up! Oh, and we struggled with the pillows, which always seem to be very chunky in this country…(!)

+: Der Nationalpark (15min entfernt!) und der See um das Resort herum sind schön!
-: Das Ressort ist keineswegs 5 Sterne! Eher Zwei! Im Zelt alles schmutzig, Frösche im Zelt, Matratzen feucht und muffig, Wasserhahn wackelt,.... alles auf google gepostet! Die Beschreibung und Fotos sind weit entfernt von der Realität vor 7 Jahren. Das Essen war eher befriedigt - Also 730 EUR pro Nacht im Dez 23 ein NO-GO für diesen Standard! Die Zufahrt zum Resort ist eine Katastrophe und ohne 4x4 unmöglich!!!! Der Jeep zur "Premium Safari" war innen Schrott und verrostet! Hilft nicht , daß ein Teil der Einnahmen direkt an die Regierung fliessen.
