+: Wij sliepen in een cabana (nr. 14) heel mooi gelegen met ietwat uitzicht op zee. Fijn dat er klamboe's om de bedden zijn. Geen AC maar genoeg koelte door de fan's. Omdat het low season was, was de accommodatie praktisch leeg. We konden helaas niet in de zee zwemmen vanwege de zeer hoge golven. De locatie is verder werkelijk geweldig. Alles mooi aangelegd en wordt goed onderhouden. De apen die rondslingeren in de bomen en een geweldig groot zwembad. Het eten is heerlijk en het personeel top. Ik denk dat het in high season een van de mooiste plekken is om te verblijven in Tangalle.

+: Wir hatten für 3 Nächte eine der Cabanas gebucht, die in einem Garten gleich hinter der wunderschönen Strandbucht liegen (die Villas und der Pool liegen nämlich etwas weiter oben). Die rustikalen Holzhütten auf Stelzen sind gemütlich eingerichtet und die Fenster lassen sich komplett öffnen, man ist im Bett ja durch ein Moskitonetz geschützt. So läßt sich Meeresbrise und Meeresrauschen bestens genießen.

+: Excellent location as it has easy access to an extremely clean beach and since we went during the off season, we had the beach to ourselves. The favourite part of our stay was our time spent at the beach. The hotel is surrounded by greenery and it is a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for unwinding.

-: The staff will need to find a solution for the caterpillars in the pool changing rooms and washrooms. Specially when families with kids stay the staff cannot be that casual about it. Harmless creatures but if they come into contact with your body, it would be an issue.

+: Sehr herzlicher homestay, wir sind zwei Tage mit dem TukTuk von dort unterwegs gewesen, an tollen Orten. Abends gemeinsam mit den anderen Gästen gegessen und sich ausgetauscht. Vielen Dank und alles Gute!

-: Ella ist ein Ort, an dem sich mehr Touristen geballt haben, als wir erwartet haben.

+: La nature qui englobe l’hôtel et le personnel aimable.

-: Lors de la réservation sur booking , il n’y a pratiquement que les images de la cabane « luxueuse » sur la page et non pas celles des petites cabanes, ce qui porte vite à confusion , d’autant plus que je n’ai pas eu le choix entre les cabanes lors de ma réservation.Donc lorsque j’arrive j’ai eu la petite cabane qui n’est pas sur les photos et j’ai donc demandé à changer en payant un supplément donc le même prix que j’ai payé de base pour la cabane , soit le double au total.Pour une cabane « luxueuse » selon l’hôte , les draps étaient sales , tout comme les serviettes de bain , des insectes comme des milles pattes et des cafards sont sur la literie , et nous n’avions pas d’eau chaude pendant quelques heures.Je conçois que nous sommes près de la nature mais pour une cabane luxueuse je m’attendais à mieux pour le prix..

+: Lovely well-appointed cabanas on a quiet beach. A tropical getaway! The staff is lovely and very attentive.

+: Third visit to the resort, which has been upgraded and now includes some luxurious villas, a second restaurant and a pool. Staff provided their usual excellent service, The villa was huge and fitted really well with the surroundings. Though the sea can be quite rough in this area of Sri Lanka, being in the middle of nature makes up for it. Food and drinks were reasonably priced, freshly prepared and tasted great. Breakfasts were very healthy. Would not hesitate to return again.

-: Guests need to be aware that their is no 24hr desk. Problems occurring at night are unlikely to be resolved until the following morning. An example would be when our AC stopped working one evening. Though it was a simple fix in that someone had flicked the outdoor switch to 'off' no one was available to remedy this until the next day.
