One of the best choices we have selected in the city of Hikkaduwa.
The beach can be reached in just 1 minute. Hotel Ritas is located right on Hikkaduwa Beach, 30 meters from the main surfing spot on the beach. The rooms are equipped with fans or air conditioning and private bathrooms. A windsurfing session can be arranged on request.
Rooms are simply furnished and equipped with mosquito nets and work desks. Bathrooms have showers and toiletries.
The hotel has a tour desk that will assist with travel arrangements and bicycle rentals. For lunch, you can visit the beach restaurant, which serves international dishes, or use the barbecue facilities.
Hotel Ritas is a 3-hour drive from Colombo. The road from Colombo International Airport takes 3 hours 30 minutes. Airport transfers are available upon request.

+: It's right on the beach and you can use sun beds for free. It has a restaurant and a bar.
-: We booked a room with private terrace but when we got there we have been told that that was the room.Basically no private terrace but only a table with 2 chairs outside our door in a communal area, very far from the real meaning of "private"(see photos)Place is really dated and it's in need of urgent tlc.

-: This hotel is not up to the standard for guests requirements. Sorry to see this type of hotel maintenance at Hikkaduwa which is very attractive city for tourism. Nad smell at the rooms and basic cleaning maintenance not done long time. Just sweeping and changing sheets and towels only.
