+: Staff are very attentive, food is good and the rooms are spacious and regularly cleaned. The room views towards Galle Face green are amazing.The pool side is great however the view overlooks a road and construction at Port City.

-: Only 2 lifts and if one is out of order then there can be big queue and delays getting from and to your room. The evening bands start sound checks up to an hour before they start and just when it’s the most relaxing and happy hour by the pool. This is very annoying. The pool over looks a road and construction sites so not a great view.

+: Lovely hotel with a soul and warmth. It’s an old hotel with lots of heritage. The staff were amazing and didn’t say no to anything we asked of, the best customer service I experienced in Colombo hotels I stayed in.

-: The Japanese sushi restaurant wasn’t that great as the Chinese one however I enjoyed it still.
